To make a withdrawal, I presume you go to cashier then UK withdrawal. If this is correct and I have got available funds in my account why do I get the following message? “Withdraw available funds. Please complete a deposit from a UK bank account in order to withdraw. Deposit’’ So I have to make a deposit in order to make a withdrawal? I never cease to be amazed by so called information technology, it’s on a par with the financial sector, full of bullsh*t. Possibly they don't know your bank details. When you tried to withdraw did you see "Account ending xxxx"? If you have funds in your account I suppose you must have made a deposit in the past, probably on the old system, and maybe there was a glitch when the data was transferred to the new system.

I had this problem last week. I even made a £1 deposit to "validate" my bank account but this did not fix the problem. In the end I mailed SS via the contact page and they fixed it within a few hours.

That seemed like a reasonable thing to try, but I'm not surprised it wasn't enough. When payments are received into my current account, I can't see the details of the account they were sent from, and I wouldn't expect to. I certainly wouldn't want my account details to be sent to everyone I've ever made an online banking payment to, as it looks like a potential security problem. Perhaps SS's relationship with the banking system means they are sent such info, but that still sounds like a real security issue to me, and I'd much rather hope that my account details aren't spread about so widely.

Hint - if you want some of loan pqr, it might be a good idea to look at / regularly refresh the loan page for loan pqr NOT the list of available loans, as by the time you navigate from the available list to the loan page, the loan part will be gone. Errr .. what does loan pqr mean ?

Ok, but how do I do what he said. Got to beat the bots .... Sign in to SS around midnight! The bots must have fallen asleep or have overindulged as I was able to buy loan parts without any problem. Maybe as well that I couldn’t make the withdrawal!

Me too .... just caught a couple. Interesting that you can now buy a bigger lump than you have money for, then sell something else to cover the deficit. I'm surprised hat is allowed, though I suppose if anyone takes the kiss* his/her facilties will soon be stopped.
* typo

I've managed to beat the bots 9 times (total just over 1K) but lost out many many more times ..... I've had a similar experience -- a few purchases, but a lot more cases where there was nothing left by the time I clicked through to the loan page. Not to mention all the times I got to the loan page in time to see something was left -- but found it had been taken by the time my request to buy was processed. It's all been a rather depressing experience. .... and then strangely there was half a dozen loans with varying amounts available at 5am today. Topped up with three that I failed on yesterday.

I was holding chunks larger than I like in some loans so purchased other bits and bobs as they came up for sale and then sold off to clear the deficit. Whilst everyone is hungry I think this is of benefit to all. Obviously need to be careful moving forward and when/if the larger pipeline loans go live bit at the moment it's working well for me.

IIRC there is another platform which will only accept deposits from your registered account so I guess that they can tell the source somehow.

Like many others I have tried to make investments on the new platform without success as all I get every time is the usual message about the investment being processed and no matter how long I wait it has yet to complete using either IE or Chrome. As I am not the only one with this problem there was obviously insufficient stress testing done on the new platform so savingstream is it not time to consider reverting back to the old platform until you can get this resolved. The alternative for me is to invest elsewhere as there is no point in getting a reasonable rate if I cannot make an investment.

Are you still getting that today? I've managed to make a small investment this morning, my problem is that someone (something) usually beats me to it and the investment has gone before I hit the invest button
