There are several improvements still in the development stage, including improving users individual choices of how they view the data along with the csv export of their loanparts portfolio. We felt it was important to get the site live with people using it and then make the small changes and improvements in due course. We will also be addressing the speed issue as a priority. If you can add a user choice as to whether or not photos are displayed in the loan listing pages (with much higher data density on screen with no photos), that hopefully will help with both website speed and usability. Yes, some improvements over Beta system, but (shakes head and sighs deeply) it's 'two steps forward, one step back' as removal of photo display via ABP does not currently improve data density (nice phrase) as it did in the old system.

I just went back on to the website via my bookmarked page (available loans). 13p of Swansea PBL18 is available and it lets me go all through the purchase rigmarole before telling me to log in or create an account. Nothing should be functioning before login, except view the page, IMHO.
PS, I've stopped crying over the failure to get my 13p invested.

One observation, there's no point having a column detailing the 12% return if everything has a 12% return. By all means build in the capability to vary returns in the future, but as of now that screen real estate would be much better used by something else eg accrued interest.

I've just tried to estimate how much screen real estate is wasted and, on a PC running at 1900*1200, reckon it's >75%. I actually like some of the overall approach, colour scheme, and added functionality, but for the meat of looking at my portfolio I think, at the moment, I'd prefer a CSV file.

savingstream - there would appear to be a very serious error with selling loan parts - once sold, the start date and end date of the part both show as today, and the interest due is thus calculated to be 0 - neither of the parts that were sold were purchased today, but some very long time ago. Hopefully this is a display problem and not a database issue. Edit: and ogwellian reported earlier not being able to enter exact numbers into the box for choosing how much to sell - I had no problem with that - it worked just the same way it used to with Firefox/win7 on PC

Following the launch of PBL65, I have tried to pick up a few other loan parts on the SM. I have clicked on a loan with some availability and entered my amount. When I click on the 'Invest' button, nothing happens. I've logged out and back in, and tried about 6 different loans. Am I the only one this is happening to??? I'm quite frustrated as I've lost out on some nice loans I would have liked to add to my portfolio. :-(
Edit: That was Chrome on Windows 10. I've just tried on the MS Edge browser and that's working.

Same thing happened to me and then finally the screen updated with a message that other users had funded ahead of me in the queue and there was now none left! I guess that means SS have built in some form of mechanism to prevent over-funding of loan parts in the SM as happened with the old site

Under "my loans" I much prefer the total I have invested in loans at the top, not at the bottom. I do like to logon each day and check my money is still there, and scrolling down 50 loans to see my total is a pain. I much prefer the old way with invested in and cash values in one clear place. You have seen that rather enormous banner at the top of the screen, I take it Liz ?

Seems to be a problem with logging out - logged out a couple of minutes ago after checking the new loan and went back to check something else and found myself still logged in - I know the site is slow but 2 to 3 minutes to log out is a bit scarey

I want to sell part of a loan to match the amount of the PBL65 pre-fund and I can't do it exactly with the slider. So annoying that keyboard input doesn't work on Android Chrome anymore. Also if using the slider, my finger covers the box with the amount, so I have to do it upside down!!

On Chrome, it's as if the button isn't doing anything.

You have seen that rather enormous banner at the top of the screen, I take it Liz ? There isn't a banner visible, but worked out the button to press to get it to appear. Lucky you - would that it wasn't as visible as all that on my screen Becoming apparent that although this awkward, space-filled set of web pages is ostensibly designed to be more user friendly for the mobile device users, it's worse for them than it is for the rest of us on proper PCs. Epic fail on the page design front it would appear - but with the exception of the lost accured interest as reported above, loan part selling appears to be smooth, functional and correct which has to be a huge step forward.
