seems to have gone live, with a bit of a struggle. You'd have hardly noticed it though.
SS can you update the PF?

Considering that this one had a lot of questions around it, it seems people where still ready to invest heavily in it.

Like many others, I like to add money in round numbers as it is easier to keep track.
In the days of the old web-site, I would have rounded my allocation from this loan up to a nice round number, and completed the online heads-up-for-a-deposit form for that amount. Then I would have used the excess (difference between my deposit and my allocation for this loan) to buy bits and bobs that others would be selling to pay for their allocation of this loan (people who don't want to make a deposit).
I don't think I can do this using the new website though? Or did I just fail to find the deposit-heads-up page?

No luck trying to buy the bits coming up in the aftermath of this (rather sudden) launch. It's real pain in the rump when the site now takes nearly a minute to process the purchase attempt, then says "too late" and in the meantime the page of available loan parts coming through is unavailable to try and buy the next fragment!! Then we have to click the little blue box to get back on it. Why not automatically put us back on the available loans page while the processing is being done? edit: I've had about eight tries now. Can't even be bothered to scratch my rump for the 1p which has just come up (Wolverhampton).

You just deposit whatever round sum you want and you'll see your account balance goes positive by the difference, just like a normal bank account would.

No, but you can just keeping buying up parts now ("on credit") to bring your deficit up to whatever figure you plan to transfer in. You don't need to have "virtual cash on hand" any more to buy loan parts

You don't need to make a pre-deposit - just buy stuff and you get a negative balance to clear as you see fit.

Launch with no warning, bring a new deal the same day (which seems to have jumped through the stages very quickly) they must be really NUTS! Well I used to like SS and have a decent chunk of money on their site. Have tried six times to buy a loan part without success.
WELL I HATE THE NEW SITE
LAUNCHING A DEAL ON THE SAME DAY AS THE NEW SITE IS JUST PLAIN NUTS
WELL FC IS BROKEN AND NOW IT FEELS LIKE SS IS AS WELL
REALLY REALLY REALLY P----D OFF !
AND IF I GET ANYMORE E MAILS TO SAY I HAVE NOT BOUGHT MY PART OR ON FACT I HAVE BOUGHT £0.00 I SWEAR I WILL SCREAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
