HELP.. I cannot get this photo bucket or imgur thing to work, i uploaded an image to them both, i followed the instructions to upload to here and all i got was a tiny little box about 1cm square and no pic. What am i doing wrong?  |

back to my post...... A couple of posts ago i wrote "My son driving a audi a5 at the mo, he loves it (but he's a young-un)" well.. we went out last night for a bit of snap, and we were chatting about cars and i mentioned i might fancy a c class merc, well my son then started talking all weird, mentioning things like, emissions, pollution, ozone layers and carbon footprints, he said he was thinking of buying a smaller more eco friendly car, i was stunned into silence when he then said "All the young-uns today are driving the smaller, friendlier cars, he's 28. i suddenly felt a lot older. so i sent him this pic of an eco-friendly tree huggers car.. and pointed out to him that he would attract many "birds" with this car.

EDIT I've done strange things with cars as well, did you know you can fit a Rover V8 into a Hilman Imp with a Hewland box? Was that still in the back? or did you re-engineer it to the front? Imp wasn't the strongest of cars, how did you beef it up to take the power? never mind the brakes.... Brian

I had a neighbour who was a welder on N Sea rigs, taught me how to weld properly!

Lotta work. musta been Mental when it was done.
Most radical I ever got was putting a Webber on my Mk1 Escort. Cos it was a Xflow, in winter carb used to Ice up. Was also seriously juicy, as if the 1300 wasn't to start with!
Also once owned a Mk1 Cortina with my Brother, that had a "hairy" cam fitted (done by previous owner) that was quite lively but the 1500 engine was pretty lively anyway (for the time)
Everything else has been far saner.
