It might be more for SS as it is much easier to invest in SS because of INPL and the pre-funding arrangements.
Taken together these make it much easier to invest if you are at work or busy at the specific time of the loan release. I have had an account with MT for a while but I have not been able to line up opportunities to transfer funds and compete for loans when they come out because of work, travel and social commitments. This is similar for Collateral but for SS it has been relatively easy.

Most of their new loans are launched with bid limits that last for a good few hours, and many to beyond the 24 hour mark. Only renewal loans disappear quickly since almost all lenders opt to renew, so very little of those comes available.

Thanks SteveT for the advice, I shall try logging on when I can in the 24 hours after a loan release. Just looked now but nothing available.

And how many have left but not closed the account..... To answer your question, I don't know, but the number of investors keeps rising... Have you personally left, but not closed the account?

I’m stuck in a few suspended loans. I’ve removed 90% of my funds. I had over 100k in at one point.

I for one have effectively left but kept my account open as I'm stuck in the Surrey house and I've got a penny remaining in a dozen or so other loans just so I can more easily track their resolutions. I may jump back in once they get their act together.

"Closed my account" is generally not very easy, or even actually very possible, with most P2P platforms .. the only one I have successfully completely vanished from my portfolio is RS, when they offered a fee-free sellout, and account closure was a requirement. Everywhere else I have nano-pence, or 'soon to be recovered loans' (wot, me larf??), or other forms of 'wait until the protons all decay' lock-in.

1000 new voyeurs who probably signed up to either:
a. Invest 50p they found under the back of the sofa! b. Got conned into going onto the site by a banner on a website somewhere and signed up just to see how many "Fools" had fallen for the same trick!

It would be really nice to have someone buy my loans though.

THE magical 20,000 barrier has been breached. It was 19,995 yesterday evening, BUT I missed the 'magical' 20,000 snapshot.
