I've just got back from work to see that this loan has yet to go live.
Seems a strange one; I thought it wired that they were going to let the loan go live before seeing the updated valuation report. I wonder if they have gotten the updated report and there are some discrepancies?

I'm guessing that for some reason they are doubting whether or not the loan will go ahead and don't want to be unnecessarily paying interest for it then to be pulled.

Are people that desperate for 1 days interest! Sometimes things overrun, and SS often launch loans at 4-5pm, so don't delay to save a few thousand £, if they wanted to save money, they wouldn't launch loans until they are ready to drawdown.

I'd like to point out to you folks that it does say at the bottom of all "Go Live" e-mails...
Just because of the above statement, I always let my account go into a negative balance and resolve afterwards (currently by selling other investments on the SM), otherwise, there is a chance of my fingers getting burnt.

This is 2nd time I have sold older loans in advance to fund a new loan which failed to go live on the day stated.Oh well lesson learnt, as already mentioned best to wait until the new loan goes live in future

Maybe the EU decided to borrow part of the IoW, like they did our fishing waters.

If it goes late a day I am not to bothered not sure why people are complaining to much, even if you have freed up £10,000 for this loan which I guess the majority have not you are only talking about £3 odd. If you have enough money to invest that amount I am sure a couple of quid is not worth complaining over

Next time when the sm is very very liquid, wait to sell. When the sm is less liquid, choosing when to sell becomes trickier.

When some of the newer loans get older people will not be that willing to buying them that quickly, they are only buying the older loans quickly now as they have the extra security of SS covering any loses (if it is able to). When some of these bigger new loans get to terms there is no security of SS digging in except for the provision fund.

savingstream Come on guys; a quick post would be nice.... is it because this loan is based on the IOW; are you busy reminiscing of more thrilling times involving superyachts
