I also received the email this morning after making an online 'Faster Payment' to SS yesterday.
My main concern when I read this email is that something had gone wrong with the payment system and Saving Stream really do not have my money! I'm assuming the only way I would find out is when my loan part is automatically put up for sale. But I suppose this is the price we pay for SS allowing us to pre-fund without making a deposit.

Chris No just check your balance. They should be or have been working on allocation of money by now if it is not correct drop SS an email

It's not the email itself but the timing of it that could worry some investors.
We receive an email when we have successfully invested in a loan reminding us to balance our account. Maybe the next email should be sent if SS have been unable to reconcile the account.
The email I received this morning did worry me for a few seconds, but I am someone who worries if I have nothing to worry about!!

Some people are being really harsh on Savingstream, let's not drive them off the forum, or remove INPL, due to complaints.
God help them if some of these members lose money on the site.

With thousands of active users, but only tens of active forumites, I know where my priorities would be ...

With thousands of active users, but only tens of active forumites, I know where my priorities would be ... Well yes, but you could in general assume the forumites are more clued up than the average investor, so if the emails cause the forumites to gnaw their fingernails, goodness knows what Joe Average is reduced to. 8>. The forum is an imperfect sample, but it's the only sample they probably have to go on. Personally I think it has to be easier (and cheaper) to communicate clearly and accurately in the first place, than it is to man/woman/person the help line phones to sort out the queries from communications failures.

SS seem to have got around that problem. It appears that they no longer answer queries by phone. (Attachment from TrustPilot - it wasn't in response to a review that I gave.)

The wording of that's a bit snippy.

I think some people may have misunderstood my post. I'm not criticising SS, I just think the email could be better worded so as not to alarm some investors. Maybe something like this:
"We are reconciling payments later today. If you have not sent a payment please do so now or your loan part may be sold on the Secondary Market".

I expect that the email is an automatic process and the crediting of bank transfers is a manual one. I'm not worried about it.
