I have a brief question on the 30 days access account. I know that on the GBBA and the QAA you can withdrawn your interest only into your cash balance and it usually happens instantly if the market conditions are right. However, with the 30 days account does it take 30 days to withdraw your interest (when it is set to withdraw interest only) or is it also done instantly. Sorry if this question has been asked previously. Thanks! It would be instant, as those funds aren't invested when they are paid. If you chose to reinvest them in the 30 day account they'd be subject to the same caps before they were. I received my interest for the 30 day account this morning. Although i requested interest payments to be withdrawn for this account , it states it is awaiting reinvestement and has been queued. I have tried to withdraw the interest payment , but i have been given a date 30 days from now. Is this how it is supposed to work. I was under the impression when i selected withdraw interest that it simply was returned to my cash account , and then swept into qaa. Can somebody help me on this please. I dont like the idea of having to wait another 30 days to get my hands on an interest payment from the previous month Thanks Tony chris ISTM this contradicts the previous answer on 30DAA interest.

I had the same issue, had it on withdraw interest on both my 30 day access and QAA and it reinvested both back into there respective accounts leaving me with no interest payments into my cash account. Odd.

I would just like to add that this has also happened to my QAA interest as well as my 30 day account interest.
I hope someone can shed some light

If something isnt working as planned he's the one who gets to fix it usually or at least tell someone in his team to have a look. Probably worth emailing Customer Services as well, so they can look at your specific account, whereas Chris will check underlying code for whole system I suspect.

I've had the same issue. All of 12 pence, but the pricipal is due out in a few days time, so the 12 p will be orphaned. Brian

In the same boat here , but my interest won't be attracting interest because it is still in the queue for the account ! So I can't withdraw the money without waiting and it can't get interest without waiting , lose - lose situation

The issue with withdrawing funds sat in the queue has been resolved and existing requests processed. I believe I've also fixed the issue with interest withdrawals not being returned to the cash account automatically, but this will need a bit more testing.

Sorry to say but my interest for last month is still showing awaiting investment and is queued when i requested the interset for this account to be withdrawn. If i try to withdraw it to my cash account it is still giving me a date 30 days from now.
Could you look into this for me Chris
Thanks

For clarity I have not put in withdrawal requests for those who wanted to withdraw interest but instead had it queued in the account. I didn't feel it was safe to do so on your behalf.
If you request a withdrawal from the 30DAA whilst you have funds queued waiting to get in then the withdrawal will now be processed from that queue first and from your invested funds second, with only the latter being subject to the 30 day notice period.
