Different issue here. I had a chunk of money queued for withdrawal on 11/6. When I look this morning it says "You currently have no funds queued for withdrawal in the 30-Day Access Account." Of yes I have, says me, oh no you haven't says the system.
tbo the processing around this account is looking a bit flaky, unless it is my brain but in this case I do not think it is.
I have now re q' and have a date of July 4th. All I can say is that it is a damn good job I do not have a firm requirement for that money on the 11th

I am new to Assetz Capital and I put in a small amount to see how it works before committing larger sums. I placed it in the 30 day Access Account and found it was stuck in a long queue, there was no indication that there even was a queue let alone the length. After a number of days slowly moving up the queue but still a long way from the front I decided to withdraw the funds as I was getting no interest. When I put in a withdraw request it stated it will take 30 days, is this correct as no money was invested just stuck in the queue.

That was either a bug fixed a couple of days ago or if more recent then because your funds are actually invested now. A change will also go live very soon to display the remaining capacity in the account when it gets close to being full. In around two months time capacity in the account should be back to increasing faster than funds are being deposited, possibly sooner. Just need some more loans to draw down.

Well chris has had a look at the log and he assures me that the withdrawal request was manually deleted by me, so it was after all my flaky brain, not his flaky software. Sorry to waste your time Chris.

Well it must have changed since your last post. I tried to get money out yesterday, to reallocate into GBAA, and money has not been released yet.

Still not released after...20 days. So seem to be 30 indeed.

That looks like a typical bank trick - better rates for new customers - very bad move in my opinion. Why should some customers get a better rate for the same level of risk?

I am sure that must be mistake, andrewholgate would not allow his loyal customers to be undercut by a promotion like this, I am sure that the rate for the account will go up for everyone to 4.4% not just the newbies.

Specifically states not eligible for existing customers. AC becoming more bank like. Interestingly, there is no time period for this. So unless I'm missing something anyone with this account could expect it to run at that rate forever, I.e. Not just a one year or similar promotion. Obviously AC could close the account in say 18 months time, but I can't see them being able to normalise the rate or adapt it to wider market rate changes.

According to the offer T&Cs, the "MSM Special 30DAA" will always earn 0.15% more than the normal 30DAA (for as long as the eligible funding is left there). So if the 30DAA rate rises, so does the MSM30DAA rate. This triggers some interesting questions over Provision Fund priority (if the PF ever had to be called on seriously). Do 30DAA and MSM30DAA accounts rank equally? If so, and the PF was insufficient to cover all interest, do both accounts get the base interest before any MSM30DAA funds get the extra 0.15%? Or do both accounts receive a pro-rata share of their total interest owed? If the latter, that seems to erode security slightly for existing 30DAA lenders.

What's up with this account now? Balances are not being shown, and any would-be investment attracts 0 per cent. The latter, I know, is possible from time to time, but the former suggests the system is faulty. FAO chris
