Some more parts of this available on the aftermarket if anyone wants to top up... I don't know how much was available at the time of the above posting, but there's still £3,000 available at the moment. I also see, at the end of the Aftermarket list, £100 of a Lend-to-Let mortgage, though I don't expect that a 6.5%, interest only, five year loan part is going to be that attractive to most people. But it only takes one.

Having all ready added an extra £700 to my holding in the last few days, I'm not going to be adding more right now, but the some on the aftermarket right now.

Doesn't seem to have lasted very long before getting snapped up -- it's gone now. Perhaps someone -- an underwriter? -- is trying to raise some cash to put into the opportunity that closes tomorrow. Or the one that was supposed to open tomorrow before it was postponed again.

The name was not showing as an official underwriter. It was the same user every time. After market parts don't stay on the market all that long on Assetz. But I also got some more Crea**** Ca**** and a little extra on Ac*** recently.

The name was not showing as an official underwriter. How are you identifying an 'official' underwriter? I've seen some bid entries where no lender ID is shown, and I've presumed those came from an anonymous underwriter. And I've seen some bids that show a Status of 'rejected' and presumed those came from an underwriter whose bid became unnecessary as other bids came in. I've seen some huge bids from named lenders, but I have no way of knowing whether that's underwriting activity or just an enthusiastic lender. I there anything else I should be looking for if I'm playing 'Spot the Underwriter'?

Some users have underwriter as part of there name when showing in the aftermarket, Such as the Now paid back property development loan, and the holiday homes for example. Anyway the underwrites bids all got removed in this auction. The user does seem to still be holding more the he sold as I can see his bids on page 87, and 108, which add up to 220k. It's possible I missed some others.

Thanks for the input, andy2001. I've seen some bid entries where no lender ID is shown, and I've presumed those came from an anonymous underwriter. I recently spotted a £100 bid from an unidentified lender (lender column on bid list was blank). They're unlikely to be an underwriter with a bid of that size, so lack of ID is not a conclusive underwriter identifier.

That £100 one was me testing something. If the lender ID is blank then 9 times out of 10 it will be an underwriter.

And I've seen some bids that show a Status of 'rejected' and presumed those came from an underwriter whose bid became unnecessary as other bids came in Bizarrely "rejected" bids may mean just that ... remembering that all bids have to be multiples of £20 ... I spotted a couple of rejected bids yesterday in an auction I was looking at that were for odd amounts (one was £350). An unusual "feature" of the software that records peoples errors and displays them to others ! Possibly attempting to place a bid for more than available funds will also create a rejected bid record.

I spotted a couple of rejected bids yesterday in an auction I was looking at that were for odd amounts (one was £350). An unusual "feature" of the software that records peoples errors and displays them to others ! Possibly attempting to place a bid for more than available funds will also create a rejected bid record. The rejected bids was supposed to be there for when we run full reverse auctions which was the original plan rather than the fixed auctions we have tended to run. This would let people see where the cut off point in the bidding was and to visualise how many bids had been knocked out. It's a waste of space though on fixed auctions and will ultimately be redesigned with something more useful. The odd amounts shouldn't be from mistakes as the bid is never created if the wrong amount is entered and bids are treated as a whole - so if you bid more than is still available it will just truncate your bid without showing the rejected part. I would imagine that if there are odd amounts in there then these will be because of an underwriting bid or other admin placed bid as these are allowed to override some of the rules if the admin sees fit, such as the divisible by £20 rule. We have also on occasion rejected some bids where funds failed to clear via GoCardless for example.

This one's overdue its latest payment. It often pays a day late, but that would have been today. It's not as if there's a weekend as an excuse. Hope it's not another one going bad...........
