Well, if we're going to be using UKIP publicity material to debate the credibility of various arguments... A poster so thoroughly fallacious and odious that even Johnson and Gove distanced themselves from it.

Farage will be proved correct in years to come once this tide of migrants has gained citizenship of an EU member state and are then free to move wherever they wish within the EU. I am off for that pint now.

This thread, this whole debate in all media, seems to me like rationalists versus those possessed by religious fervour. There is no reasoned argument or fact which can trouble a true believer.
So who are the rationalists and who are the religious believers? You all know which is which.

I'm convinced now - there is not a single reason to leave the EU. Thanks. This is nothing more than pointlessly divisive drivel that adds nothing to the debate other than to insult your opponents.

It really has gone daft when the bloody Greeks feel they can jump on a soapbox and preach to the UK about economics. edit..usually around this time i'm off to SS to snaffle a few titbits on the SM.. but even that's boring now.

Interesting assumption as to which side he was inferring was which.

Writing again in a purely personal capacity. I believe there is another TV debate tonight, similar to the last ITV debate which I watched with interest. My mind is already made up, but I'm really concerned by the negativity put out mostly by remain side and the personal attacks (as in the last ITV debate on Boris Johnson) and the inference that leaving is xenophobic or racist. Everyone is entitled to their own views which others may disagree with, but name calling and personal attacks are not acceptable. If politicians do it, it is no wonder that it is copied by some of the public.

Wanting to leave the EU is not inherently xenophobic or racist - but you can certainly bet that every single xenophobe and racist will be voting that way in the referendum, and there is little doubt that many of the arguments put forward have appealed strongly to that demographic.

If this is the best they can do, then having their hands tied by Brussels is no less than they deserve. I don't think that I have heard a positive case for the EU from any remain campaigner. I can see that they as Labour got wiped out in Scotland after the referendum last year, everyone is being cautious about sharing platforms, but nonetheless. And the leave campaigners seem to hate some of their co-campaigners more than they hate the EU. Nobody is being honest. Most unedifying.

Interesting news on LBC Radio just now: apparently 46% of Leave voters believe the referendum result will be rigged!
And even 10% of remain voters believe it.

Did anyone comment on 'how' they thought it could be rigged? No - just a supplementary question on an opinion poll. Dodgy postal votes are always a good route. Worked in Austria, allegedly
