It will be great to have an extra bank holiday in the summer, June 22nd 23rd Independence Day, hooray for the red white and blue. A day for fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, football games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United Kingdom. Woo hoo. I'm surprised Leave haven't offered an extra bank holiday, would probably swing it for a lot of people Politicians always offer sweeteners, on he eve of an election. What, such as a referendum?

Yep, he's right. We also need sterling to fall to offset George Osborn's crazy "living wage" policy.

Is it possible to see a graph of this poll over time. It seems to me that the exit lead is decreasing (as a percentage). Yes. ig.ft.com/sites/brexit-polling/

With all these storms I am seeing on the news I half expect to see Cameron claiming that even God wants you to remain in his reformed European Union, but presumably it's too late now.

I don't think so: the storms have been battering some of the most pro-EU parts of the country, e.g. flooding in London, which stands a real chance of depressing the remain vote. Yorkshire on the other hand remains untouched (well, in the weather sense anyway).

For the benefit of any gamblers out there (and very much "mod hat off" )
Remainers: AC Leeds Office block @ 13% (plus minor default interest on missing repayments) has been selling steadily at par over recent days. Just under £14,000 currently available at a 2% discount.
Leavers: Betfair odds for remain vote <=40% are around 50-1 100-1 and for 40-45% around 25-1 How about decimal odds of 3.5 on England voting to leave, also on Betfair?

Beautiful morning up here, just right for voting leave unless you live in the Batley & Spen parliamentary constituency where remain posters have mushroomed in the last week in a crude effort to manipulate the sympathy vote.

Beautiful morning up here, just right for voting leave unless you live in the Batley & Spen parliamentary constituency where remain posters have mushroomed in the last week in a crude effort to manipulate the sympathy vote. Warm and damp down here, I don't think I've seen a single poster for either side locally but there are plenty of England flags being flown from upstairs window but that probably has more to do with the football then the referendum. However and surprisingly we had to queue in the polling station at 8:00am this morning which could be an indication of a higher turnout then we have seen in recent elections.
