hi all,
i know it could be deemed vulgar to talk about but I find it to be interesting, exciting and also makes me more determined to reach my goal.
i have only just started my journey into high % interest investing so currently only get around £50 a month interest across my investments but I am determined to keep topping it up monthly and reinvest every penny. My aim is to carry on for 25 years at which point I would have enough to be able to live off the interest alone and have the large lump sum of capital there as well. i have a long way to go!
so does anyone here earn enough from interest alone to be able to live off it?

Maybe. The current rates on cash are so low that I'm not sure whether my interest income still covers my frugal life style. If you add in dividends then my income does exceed my expenditure. There are people around here who are seriously wealthy.

Or what planet you're on I am hoping to be able to live off interest/dividends, but am being very cautious.

Yes, it's all a spectrum of risk vs return. Low risk in banks gives 0% return, extreme risk and extreme return available via betting. There is also a matter of how much of your personal time it takes, as some earn good daily interest on betting markets but it's effectively a full time job to manage the position.

You can lend money to Will hill for the next 6 days and get a ~ 50% return (2,600% annualised) by betting on Remain at 1/2

According to the government, in this event there would be little chance of recovery...

It depends what country you live in. I'll be living in LOS myself at the end of October. Can live well for a lot less than the UK.

There's a very simple answer to the OP's question.
We're all earning the same amount of interest.
12%...
