So far, as far as I can see, most of the loans now in negative days have been for tens/hundreds of thousands (apart from the garden centre) however, tomorrow circa 7 1/2 MILION pounds fall due for repayment. (Farmland and Crowborough.) Knowing that savingstream monitor this forum, would it not be unreasonable to expect some sort of meaningful update from savingstream if a two big fat cheques don't land on their doorstep?

With bridging loans, it's not unusual to see loans overrun the initial term and should perhaps be expected. The sheer number of the loans now in negative term territory is a tad worrying; "extend and pretend" looks to be taking place with some of these loans. IMHO, defaults are to be expected with some of the negative term loans currently in negative term territory...

Anyone want to "chip in" and run a farm, if it defaults? Free cap-full of Brandy per hour. Exit> and I have some illiquid detached house! I hope it pays back, so I can use funds to invest in the pipeline loans.

Oh dear... I don't see too much wrong with the farmland, despite the question about the rezoning (which may or may not exist...). However, it is the sort of loan other investor are unwilling to touch and therefore very hard to get rid off. You have to review your portfolio occasionally, and ask yourself; "if I need access to my money, which will be the hardest to sell"... I got rid of my farmland investments when they got to about 100days.

The words "meaningful update" and "Saving Stream" are mutually exclusive. I wish we had a meaningful update to reveal whether (or not) PBL040 has now had its refinance confirmed (or refused, and how many times). If they know, they should say so, if they don't, they b***** well should do - they've been prompted enough times in the last few weeks. It is not a building society (as SS state) and I am fairly sure they make decisions in days rather than weeks. It is a small bank which has less bureaucracy to contend with (AIUI)

Will be interesting to see what effect the 104 repayment has on these negative loans hanging around on the SM.
