PG's are always in addition to asset/property security. All loans are currently fully funded on our platform, but we hope to have new loans going live next week as well as the launch of a secondary market. Will look forward to the new loans

Will look forward to the new loans I haven't been watching the loan 'Pipeline' very closely, but I see that there are now four 'Stage 2' boat loans there, whereas there had been only three of those when I looked maybe a day ago. In addition, a couple of property loans have appeared -- one for £400k, the other for £955k.

Might even be able to pick some units once SM opens in May. savingstream still haven't come back with a reply on whether there will be fees involved or if it's free (we all prefer the latter, wink wink)

The issue of SM fees may have been settled -- there will be none -- but the other big issue is how accrued interest will be handled. I raised the issue in the SM thread (Page 2, 20/Apr @ 2131) but so far there's been no response from savingstream. Perhaps they're still thinking about it, but it's obviously a significant issue for the boat and car loans that pay no interest until maturity. |

5 loans in the pipeline, 4 boat & 1 property bridge loan. 4 still at stage 2 but 1 at the final 4th stage. Will look forward to some activity in the near future

Only two boats and one property now. Were the boats funded when I wasn't looking, or did the loans not materialise?
SS is looking a bit like you need to be in the right place at the right time or you miss it all.

For clarification, two boat loans were removed from the pipeline as the borrowers have informed us they do not wish to proceed.

They email when a loan goes live for funding. The stage 2 loans in the pipeline often disappear as that is before the borrower is committed to the process by paying valuation fees. Borrowers often start the process of looking for their loan with a number of providers and then go ahead with the one they consider to be the better deal.

New boat loan on the site now I think it's a 'roll-over'. I think this was one that's paid back slightly early and taken out a new 6 month loan. It appears at the top of the repaid page too - unless by some amazing coincidence it's just got the same name and details.
