Well, I wasn't fast enough this time. Didn't notice the SMS, logged in when I got the email and it's all gone. Actually it's more than all gone its showing -1.25% - a double bid again by the looks.

I think SS need to introduce a maximum limit just like AC have done. From receiving the email, to logging in & transferring funds by GC, less than 10 mins altogether, the whole £16k were taken up. Ridiculous! I hope savingstream sort it out as the last 2 loans have been a total washout

I also responded within 10 minutes of the email to find it all gone as others. The fact that we did not get in despite the fast response shows that there is a very heavy demand, or perhaps just one or two players with a large amount ready to go in! I suspect few took any time to read the documents.

Have to concur with that. Now need to take the funds back out again! However still don't think there is a better option than 'fastest finger first'. Not sure if the max allowance is any more fair than that. Will just have to monitor emails more closely. Loan is now actually at -1.25% funded so someone will be receiving an email from SS apologising that their £200 did not make the cut but that they are introducing a system to ensure "this never happens again".

Somehow I failed to spot the part of the T's ans C's where SS claimed to be a fairness to all mutual.

As an aside and I admit totally off topic but did anyone happen to be in and around the Ludgate Hill area of London between 5 and 8 pm yesterday evening. Please ignore or moderate if this post makes no sense.

I responded immediately to the text and had £100 already sitting there, so got in. I wasn't the first though - 7% had already gone before I got there.

Loan is now actually at -1.25% funded so someone will be receiving an email from SS apologising that their £200 did not make the cut but that they are introducing a system to ensure "this never happens again". AC had a number of complaints last year due to some smaller loans filling up within few minutes. They then introduced a variable max bid with 24-48 hours of auction opening, depending on loan size. If, after that period, there was still capacity to fill in the loan, members can bid what they wanted afterwards, on top of any initial investment pledged within that 24-48 hours period. I think savingstream need to look at this asap. They are getting bigger, more noticed & their membership is increasing. If they have one or two people monaing now, they'll have many more in a few weeks/months time & rightly so. It's only fair everyone gets a bite of the cherry!

We will definitely consider introducing a variable investment cap for the first 24 hours of a new loan as we can appreciate the frustrations of reacting quickly to a new loan notification and still finding no availability left.

Good news. I was going to 'like' your post to save having yet another post appear, but my 'like' button has totally vanished and indeed I can't see any 'liked' posts anywhere. I have logged in and out and no difference. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks for that j; I've just read and indeed commented on that thread . While we're off subject, I see you have tagged me on this thread (hope I haven't committed a faux par saying so). I'm not sure how to do this, did look around but couldn't find anything. Is that done by 'following' someone?
