Well, your two posts (j and ramblin rose) in this thread gave me a start, I thought there'd been new loans I somehow missed! It would be good if they go live soon, but I've got a busy week and won't be able to check up much, so I hope I don't miss out on these again although with luck the property ones won't vanish in a heartbeat.

The property loans usually hang around a while but the boaty ones disappear sharpish

I see the smaller property loan has gone - let's hope the remaining one goes live soon. Boat bits still in pipeline too.

As a newbie to SS, how long does it normally take for loans that don't mysteriously disappeared become available to us to invest in?

As a newbie to SS, how long does it normally take for loans that don't mysteriously disappeared become available to us to invest in? It really varies a lot as it depends on how long the borrower takes to get their paperwork in order - there isn't any 'norm'. SS usually make them available immediately that happens in the case of the boats and cars. With the property bridges they have sometimes made them available when they are reasonably sure they will go ahead but before all the paperwork is in order, and take the risk on themselves to pay us interest in the mean-time in the case that they don't actually go ahead. That, presumably, just varies on a case by case basis according to their judgement. Often loans have been so quickly organised that they didn't even get into the pipeline list and were made immediately available. Sorry - I know that doesn't really help you, but it's the best I can do

Thanks for that. It does seem a wee bit frustrating to keep money available, not knowing when you can get it working

I think that device got lost in the post....or AC decided I hadn't won it....anyone know who did? Confessions accepted here .

Strange creatures. lowland primates.... I rarely eat oranges, though I do like chilled orange juice on a warm and sultry day ..... and I'm a glutton for apples - Cox's for me (with Bramley's for the pies and strudels)!!! ...and peaches... and nectarines .... and strawberries .... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
Roll on the next SS boat!!
