Was thinking the same thing and thinking it may be 007 as the significantly larger of the two might come through, hence the reason for the 005 firesale. Maybe savingstream need a new stage in the pipeline as many loans have sat at stage 4 for exceeding long periods of time. Suggest Stage 5 "going to go live in the next 24 hours, guaranteed, honest guv" |

Ditto, although with hindsight it may have been related to an agreement with the underwriter that they would be able to start realising their £1m from a certain date.

New loans seem to be taking an age to appear. Could it be that they are being held back so as to allow the very large aftermarket to mop up funds?

Anti-climb paint (also known as non-drying paint, anti-intruder paint, anti-vandal grease) is a class of paint consisting of a thick oily coating that is applied with a stiff brush, trowel or by hand using a protective glove. In appearance it is similar to smooth gloss paint when applied but it remains slippery indefinitely thereby preventing any intruder from gaining a foothold.

New loans seem to be taking an age to appear. Could it be that they are being held back so as to allow the very large aftermarket to mop up funds? I doubt that very much. They have historically run several large loans in tandem, when they were available. I'm sure they'd want any loan they have made covered as quickly as possible to free up their funds for more. New loans bring in new money more quickly than the older ones, so their business wheel turns more quickly - why wouldn't they want that?

Please be assured our objective is to get new loans live as soon as possible, however all loans go through comprehensive valuations, due diligence and legals and some can take considerable time before going live.
We're sure our investor community would not want short cuts to be taken in order to bring a loan to the platform before all required verification and due diligence had been performed.

No but we are saying that stage 4 gives one the impression that it's going live soon (couple of weeks at the most), but it actually seems to mean something between mañana and who-knows. Can you have a think and see if you can find another milestone which really does mean imminent in some sense? We'll forgive you if they fall through occasionally.
