I sold some loans parts and requested a withdrawal around 7.45am this morning - I had the withdrawal request confirmation email but no final confirmation email or money in my bank yet. Does anyone know if they were super early with their transfers this morning or are they being super late?!  |

I'm afraid that you have probably missed them. My withdrawal was deposited into my account about 9 am. you might be lucky if they do a second run but I think tomorrow will be when you get your hands on your money.

I always assume I've missed the payment run with SS, and then it's just a nice surprise if it shows up the same day.

My withdrawal processes happened at 6.47am this morning. You missed the run, will be processed tomorrow.

I've found that a safe bet is to make your withdrawal the night before, i've made them in the early hours (1am) before now and they did not credit until the following day, i.e. 32 hours later.

This is something I would really like from SS. A guaranteed payments processing time for withdrawals (and inward payments). i.e. if your payment request is received by 8:30 am, it will be processed that day and credited to your account the next. It is very hit and miss at the moment. Sometimes you'll request a withdrawal at 7:30 am one day and it will get processed, do it the next day at the same time and it seems you have missed the boat......
It feels like like the person who processes the payments only works 3 days a week, and on the other days, the temp has to cover the payments run so it happens a bit later. Unless of course a loan gets released on Saturday and its all hands to the pumps to get the payments in!!
Silly thing really, easy to fix, avoids a lot of customer confusion, and is well... gives an appearance of being more professional.

Withdrawals are only processed if you have available funds of £0.00 or above. If you have purchased something after your withdrawal, which will have taken you in to negative funds, you will need to rectify this negative balance before any withdrawal is processed.

Thanks for your comment, but in the past withdrawals were processed even when I had negative funds because of a later purchase.
