i'm relieved they are not looking for another 4.7 million, I've already been down the back of the sofa twice over the last week...

... and, before someone asks, you should only set a pre-funding target if you want to INCREASE your PBL093 holding. If you leave it at zero then your PBL093 holding will be rolled into DFL008.

I think this will go live in 9 days.
PBL093 has 279 days left and this loan is for 270.
As usual, I'll prob be wrong tho.

Probably a bit of a stupid question but the original loan keeps popping up now and again on the secondary market and I already have a bit of an investment in this and wouldn't mind a bit more if it pops up again. Am I right in thinking that it doesn't make a difference whether I buy more on the SM of PBL093 vs prefunding this loan (aside from obviously any interest accrued in the time difference between this loan going live and purchasing from the SM)?

Cheers! There was a massive chunk earlier today on the SM and over the past few days but alas I've used all my spends on some of the new loans so don't have anymore liquid funds to invest until payday, looks like prefunding might be the way to go! Slightly off topic but how do you change settings to get the 'loan live' advance warning e-mails? I can't find that option on my e-mail settings and only find out when the loan is actually live and SS tells me how much of my prefunding has been allocated.

There is no email opt-out/in for 'loan live' advance warning e-mails. All investors should get them, but it is a known problem that some don't get (the go-live) e-mails . From memory, G-mail blocks the SS go live emails before they get to the inbox, but you should pop SS an e-mail to make sure that you are on their mailing list.

From memory, G-mail blocks the SS go live emails before they get to the inbox... I certainly receive the GoLives on my GMail account. If you're not seeing them, check your spam folder, and tell GMail that they're not spam. Running various servers that send automated mail over the years, I've never come across a single instance of GMail totally blocking mail without presenting it to the user via the spam folder - Hotmail and Yahoo/BT? Regularly... But they're the only ones.

In the early days I wrote on this forum that I wasn't getting the go live emails into my (recently opened I hasten to add....) Gmail account - then I noticed that Gmail had helpfully (?!?!) given me 'Tabs' for Social and ....something else I cant remember ....... and the go live emails were being automatically sorted into one of those rather than my general Inbox which was the only place I was looking at.

Promotions is the other. If you receive your GMail mail to a mail client, they don't play a part at all. You can also configure what does and doesn't go to them.

Yep ... I know that now...... that's why I stressed that the Gmail account was at that time 'recently opened'.....
