And at 10% average rate on a huge loan, it may never be drawn down (but I can hope, coz I was in for some too).

The broker answered a question about that fairly quickly, but guardedly, and I don't think he will have advised the borrower to go into pre-agreement if he was not advising him to accept it. I can imagine him saying "accept now and look for refinance at a later date at a lower rate".

I always regard FC's 'pre agreement' loan status to be roughly equivalent to 'they haven't rejected it YET', rather than 'they are going to be accepting it imminently'. Call me a pessimist, but I only get nice surprises that way. 8>.

Latest Flipping Crazy feature is parts for sale staying in for sale list and showing time remaining 0m 0s. Must have been like that since yesterday morning. Had to manually de-list to put them up for sale again.

I regard FC's "blank page" as the "they haven't rejected it yet" .... which would make the "pre-agreement" page mean "unless we get something better fast elsewhere we will be accepting, subject always to Sir F.C. Coquup's intervention."

Hmm, I wonder if anyone can buy them when they are at 0m:0s, or if the system will claim they are gone (or will sell them twice or more?). I suggest you manually de-list anyway though, because parts have been known to fall off the list (at 0:0) and not show up as available for re-listing for several hours or even days, if you leave it to the server to de-list them.

'relisting for a different' (one assumes smaller) amount' (and took a week to decide so that's two weeks of lost interest then ..) update: It's back, slightly smaller (but still huge) as 9487. Caveat Emptor.

Is it my imagination, or have all the (vaguely meaningful) thumbnail images on the Loan Requests page suddenly all cloned into the same baby blue "avatar_small", somewhat reminiscent of a subbuteo team? Glittery baubles would have been more seasonally festive. We need to be told.

It’s the unexpected happenings on P2P websites that add to the excitement.
Talking of which, where have the “smileys / emoticons” or whatever they are called, gone on this website?

Maybe it's a bandwidth reduction exercise, although the graphics in total doesn't amount to 1% of the damn .css and .JS files (and the graphics was at least cached, on IE anyway). Maybe it's a test to see if anyone notices, &/or if the picture actually influences the rates?

Just a note to say that the missing avatar pics are only there on the auction list (even if logged in) - my/your watchlist still has the right pictures. Maybe FC decided it was a security flaw letting everyone see who was asking for cash, if the picture was a hint, however I'm not sure why that would apply if you were logged in, so more likely they just broke it.
