Saw the change, didn't miss the meaningless rubbish and if it helps the servers then all to the good. Had one 502 today and at a time when it was not vital. So good to go.

Ok I can live without the images, and few borrowers supplied one. But the new avatars are annoying and pointless - so why not do away with them completely, or use the space for something useful or attractive, like old grumpy's avatar.

Well that should keep the bidding down and the rates up, yep, I'd vote for that. 8>.

Up go the rates (?) and up go the A/A+ rejections!! 9280 is another of an increasing number throwing my bid back in my face! "No longer needs credit blah blah"

I often get the feeling that potential borrowers are not that serious, but merely playing the auction to see what sort of rate they might get. Is there any kind of up-front deposit that borrowers lose if they decline taking up the loan? Even a small fee might dissuade them from taking the pi**. Investing money in FC sometimes feels like trying to feed a small stubborn child that isn't hungry and repeatedly just keeps spitting the food out again.

How high do rates need to go above typical market rates for the risk level before it is considered the lenders who are taking the pi** ?

Maybe FC could adopt the FK idea that the borrower specifies the maximum rate they would accept, and if the rate drops that low they are obliged to accept (or presumably forfeit some fees, though I don't know whether this is allowed). FK auction loans start the minute the auction ends if that rate is achieved or bettered.

Perhaps the 11.21% average rate on Zopa A*, 11.9% A, 13.18% B, 13.82% C, 14.2% Y, 15.83% Listings you had previously offered/achieved and then saw fit to publicise for your disciples over on the Zopa forum?

Just a note to say that the missing avatar pics are only there on the auction list (even if logged in) - my/your watchlist still has the right pictures. Maybe FC decided it was a security flaw letting everyone see who was asking for cash, if the picture was a hint, however I'm not sure why that would apply if you were logged in, so more likely they just broke it. Nope, can't be security, since (even if not logged in) clicking on an auction takes you to a detail page with a correct / variable avatar (eg www.fundingcircle.com/loans/50007/auction .. which even probably identifies the company for you .. no mods, that is the FC site doing it, not me!). Or rather 'if it was for security, it still has a hole you can drive a bus through'.

After feeling smug reading about all the problems other people have been having, it's finally happened to me. It all started a week ago.
First it was just a £16 loan part. Then the paid in/out on the statement was 1p different to the detailed description on a few lines.
Now I have one part for which I have received sale money, but which I still own and two parts which I have sold twice - I am about £100 up. The amusing thing is that as I only have £9 spare, FC will have to wait for the money.
What has shaken my faith in the platform is the response from FC. To paraphrase "these things happen". It is a mystery to me how it is possible for these things to happen and they should be stopped at once!

I see the avatar pics came back, with no comment. Just another glitch then...

It is a mystery to me how it is possible for these things to happen and they should be stopped at once! I don't think they can fix it. They seem to have settled for finding the results of the errors through reconciliation runs and reversing out spurious transactions. But it is getting worse. I had another problem very recently and they have corrected it to a 5p standing error. At least they call it legacy code rather than heritage code. Lets hope the rewrite is coming on well.

I seem unable to place anything for sale on the secondary market at the moment. The search function always seems to return no results. The site seemed to be playing up a lot this afternoon in various strange ways. Anyone else noticed?

I was on from 13:00ish to 15:00ish and had no problems either bidding or looking at and placing parts on the SM.

OK, John, interesting. I was using a mobile browser earlier and only getting text versions of auction pages. It cleared up later in the afternoon. Right now back on home PC I don't seem to be able to put anything on sale. I'll try logging out for a while...
