I don't hold any of the other bridges, but haven't seen any parts come back on the market since they were converted to 'new' loans. That might be because there is a demand out there which snaps things up via AI before you even see them. I can guarantee that some have been sold!

I have been blowing in the wind on this one. I had been slow re-selling and was feeling quite pleased that I had managed to get rid of about half my holding (a lot of which I had 'painfully' purchased in £20s), yesterday. Then the update appeared last night and checking out that it definitely seemed to be uner offer and off the market, I bought a couple of the discounted units! My holding is reduced, but not by that much. Unfortunately, AC have lumped all my loan parts into £100 units so no small ones left now I hope their magic system really is introduced soon. I am also unclear whether they can be traded, someone has asked in a Q&A but not been answered, and there are contradictory opinions on the tradability of these defaulted bridges on another thread. I would have felt more comfortable if AC had confirmed the exchange had taken place beforehand, but as they hadn't I'll Just have to hope for the best. In edit: if AC had left me with any of the smaller units I'd have a go at selling, but I'll wait and see for the others. You can reactivate AI though, don't know if that indicates anything in particular. I don't hold any of the other bridges, but haven't seen any parts come back on the market since they were converted to 'new' loans. star dust, you can do a mock AM sale if you want to check the possibility of selling these. I would think you can as the old loan has been re-packaged into a totally new one that hasn't technically defaulted or had a late payment so, if you want to sell you most probably can. I can't see why you would be prevented from doing so.

Thanks for the info, nice to know I might be able to get rid of some if I later decide it's become too risqué for me. & thanks for your info too j think we cross posted.

I like risqué stuff. It's the risk I'm wary of.

I put a sub-£100 Hackney unit up for sale shortly after that loan had been reorganised -- and it sold instantly.

I can't see why you would be prevented from doing so. I don't think you can do a mock sale. I have just tried to put units in Liv****** B L up for sale. I selected them, then clicked 'Review Sale', which brought up the expected page. It's was only when I clicked 'Yes, list these units for sale' that I received the message... If you try that with one of the reorganised loans, upon clicking the 'Yes' button most likely you'll find that AI will have transferred your unit to someone else instantly.

The Liv****** BL has been marked as lost as the borrower has failed to communicate and the loan has been placed in legal recovery so you won't be able trade it. The defaulted loans that have been reorganized are still trading as the borrowers are in theory still making repayments and have (hopefully) committed to paying off the loans when the delayed funds are available, can be are traded but are being picked up instantly by the AI and thus don't appear on the SM. £900 H****** BL sold instantly at the click of a button.

One thing that concerns me a tad here: is this happening becausae of AI instructions set against the ORIGINAL loans, or specifically and knowingly against the new loans. Perhaps this has been discussed elsewhere.

Not as far as I am aware, I have a four figure chunk in this one, the info appears in the updates in the loan page.

I'm not sure AC would agree with the "lost" adjective. What the update says includes... There's hope that AC doing that will produce some action from the borrower.
