Well if you count investments that are not linked to your group but are a direct result of the original posts here you are already there.
I can't seem to find a way of link my original investment to tie in with the group's.

I can't seem to find a way of link my original investment to tie in with the group's. if you select Portfolio, then select My Loans .... now scroll to the bottom of the page where your loans are listed in a table. The final column in the table is the team each loan is assigned to, if they aren't already assigned you should be able to select P2P Lenders from a drop down menu assuming you have joined the team! Would be great if you could push us into 4 figures

KIVAs current promotion is that is you donate $35 to the sites operating costs they will provide $25 bonus with which to make a loan.
Seems a roundabout way of getting donations but I've just done it, so I guess others will too.

Having said that I'm really proud of the collective effort and a total that's as much as 10times what I'd anticipated in the groups first year.
Gutting to hear your personal COL situation and the impact on your life plans. Not having even a years salary in p2p I'm not so exposed but it's a reality check non the less!

The 8th is the big day. I see that wiki is up to its usual shenagins, years back it admitted that the cause of this was the terrible NY fire that killed so many women. Now it merely mentions the fire and now focuses on the political activists.

Indeed @bobo it is the 8th, otherwise known as International Women's Day which brought my attention to KIVA one year ago and the forum members have achieved amazing things since! 39 members of the forum have committed funds to great causes. An incredible $7200 has been loaned around the world in 51 countries
On International Women's Day it feels appropriate and right that 78% has been lent to Women
Today for International Women's Day, KIVA are matching funds lent out, making it the perfect time for a 40th member to join us!
