I had just pulled all of my money out of SS and now find this nonsense has happen to me too. Makes me think i was right to quit them while i am ahead. I logged back in to send them a message and checked the pipeline. It seems SS had decided to set a pre fund for me on all the loans.

Just contact Support, explain the issue and they will cancel your parts. Best to do that than bash them on this forum.

Pulled all money money out a few months back and had pre-fund set to zero. They've re-set it to £100 and allocated me parts of three loans. I won't funding any of them. More of a problem for people who had cash sat in their accounts I suspect.

I think SS are on very legal dodgy ground here. Imagine someone gradually selling £15K of their loans as we approach the end of the current ISA period. Then SS invest it all in a series of **** 8% loans that can't be sold easily. A person could miss their entire year's ISA allowance. How can SS correct that? Is the c word no longer "Inappropriate Language"?

You are given the opportunity to explain why posts may contravene forum t&c.

Many reported posts that contravene forum t&c usually gets ignored. And you can only report the post once.

No, people getting upset that some people get threatened with bans, but allows others to do the same without a ban threat.

All reports are reviewed by the Mod team and action is taken whenever the reported post breaches forum rules. And a post can be reported by as many members as choose to. I note that you have not reported this one, although I've just dealt with another post that you did report for use of a swearword.

I was wondering what the heck the C word was. People getting upright about that, seriously? Think of a beautiful japanese decorative four letter fish, and dyslexify the inner letters. Our moderators are far too precious about moderate "bad language" these days. OK, we don't want the "hard stuff" and can do without the f and c (the other one), but the occasional mild expletive to express dissatisfaction with events should be tolerated. Signed Grumpy Jack (played cricket for Gloucestershire in the 1950s)
