I was wondering what the heck the C word was. People getting upright about that, seriously? Think of a beautiful japanese decorative four letter fish, and dyslexify the inner letters. Our moderators are far too precious about moderate "bad language" these days. OK, we don't want the "hard stuff" and can do without the f and c (the other one), but the occasional mild expletive to express dissatisfaction with events should be tolerated. Well put it this way. When I was top of the class one year my Uncle Albert gave me my first bat. I chose a Denis Compton bat.

Was it apocryphal that in the 1990s the whole town (east of Doncaster) council website became disabled because a certain obscenity screening software was installed and deemed a sequence of four letters in the town's name were offensive?
