After two major surprise results in the not-too-distant past (Trump, Brexit), I'm now wondering if this might bring us some nightmarish third finale. I might pack my bags...

Like a win for the Limp Dems........... Or several small parties gain popularity, cutting into all mainstream parties traditional voting areas and we're left with a 3way coalition... SNP, Greens and Ply Cymru... propped up by Sinn Fien who make the historical decision to start taking part at Westminster... Hmm... I wonder if Canada is looking for Refrigeration Engineers Ply Cymru - sounds a bit flimsy Given youve just offended two out of four of the home nations nationalists by mangling their spellings, perhaps exile might be a strategic decision Edit cooling_dude attempts to gazump Parliament by getting in first with a poll ... anaylsis to come form John Curtis no doubt

Nobody asked for it, but I have decided to add a poll I stand to be corrected but I believe our opinion polls have been far more accurate than the "official" ones!!

I could vote for who I believe in and will not get in in my constituency or I could vote for them who might get in but are not as bad as the other nutters who might get in. How would you like me to score it?

So long as those people are part of the 37.5% of the electorate who agree with you, of course. Quite the contrary actually - I am a true democrat & can accept 18 years of Conservative govt in the same way as 13 years of Labour, as simply the will of the people, whether I agree or disagree personally. Our forefathers fought & died to preserve our right to vote & determine our future direction & in my view it should be made compulsory for everyone to vote, even if it is for "none of the above."
What really makes my stomach turn is the interview that begins "Whilst I accept the result of the referendum...." & then goes on to list every possible way to frustrate, overturn, delay or prevent it's implications. These people simply think that the general populous are too stupid, racist, unworthy to be allowed to decide the country's future, unless of course that agrees with their own view. Such supercilious representatives are unfit for public office & their electorates should take the opportunity to replace them with someone who actually deserves the job.

It's not about leave-or-remain. It's about the way in which we're leaving. The referendum didn't give any indication as to how "hard" the brexit would be. All the leave campaign promised a very, very soft brexit - yet we're heading for the hardest of hard. Who voted for that? A minority of that 37.5%, I'd suggest. And that's before we get on to the outright lies in the campaign. Remember that big red bus...? If what we're getting is what'd been described last May and June, we would not be here now.
