I'm going to guess that they are not going to invite all 1618 members. Wonder what criteria they will use to give out invites? Answers on a post card please.

I hadn't given it a thought that I was 'speshul'...  Saving Stream (Lendy) may be sending the invitations out in 'batches', you will probably get one later.  It was a 'nice touch' to receive such an invitation.

I got the same invite, quite surprised given my "spat" with them a couple of months ago..........we are due down in the West Country that week so might even swing by on the way.....

I had an email but my brother hasn't yet. I wonder if invites are being issued based on how much money people hold on the platform, as I have about twice as much as him? Maybe they start at the top and work downwards until spaces are filled, as mentioned above it would be pretty hilarious if 1684 people and their +1s tried showing up. It's fairly close to me, so I might pop over for a day or two if I can sort out transport from Devon. Everyone else I know will be at work though, so if anyone wants to say hi then look for the Billy-No-Mates in the corner.  |

Wasn't quite sure where to put this as I didn't want to start a new thread for it, and I do hope I'm not repeating something already mentioned, but this relates to advertising so..... I quite often use an iPad to access the Forum, which being an old model I'm unable to run adblockers on, and this morning I noted a banner ad for Lendy - the last time I remember these was back in 2014. Not sure it's the best place for it, but more evidence of a change in their fortunes. Turned up un-invited and un-announced today and received a warm welcome on the Lendy stand, and a lovely lunch and drinks. Lendy's name plastered all over Cowes. Must be raising the profile and credibility of Lendy. Great to meet you and many thanks Tim and Paul Paul64 and savingstream

Plus thanks for the encouraging report that the event is raising the profile of Lendy, in Cowes and around the Isle of Wight. I am hoping to go to this event next year and make a holiday of it.
