ludicrous / progress. words I swap in and out of my comments depending on the weather. "hey AC, removing the ability to check my interest between specified dates is really progress" sounds much better and less offensive in the world of pc we now live in. we wouldn't want to hurt peoples feelings by using words such as "ludicrous" now would we. imagine the counsellinig fees jo? I will simply use my 23 column, 97 line excel spreadsheet which I timestamp on a daily basis and compare over the 600 copies I have saved. This is really progress...........

I had a 12 month loan at 16% which paid me quarterly. Paid on time, every time for the full 12 months. Nearing the end I had the option to renew at 12% but I had other plans so cancelled.
Technically not an early repayment but I miss that loan...

Interesting comment about the FTSE 100.
My financial advisor, a safe harbour style of investment house has sold my FTSE 100 tracker and bought the FTSE All-Share as they don't like the current FTSE 100 based on the way the USD/GBP is the only real affect on it.
There will always be someone who sees the sky falling, I however prefer to balance my investments across everything I think has a good possibility of return.
As a side note, I have sold 15% of my P2P and bought an offiice over here so maybe my gut thinks the sky is falling too...

Me neither.
We used to have it. Now we do not (or it is hidden).
That is the price of progress.

I voted B as the offer is clearly a "first offer" to see where the land lies. As AC have received the offer I doubt they could progress without allowing for a vote which they know will be rejected. The next step will hopefully be to take the situation to a more fairer conclusion which might be either a new, smaller loan or a slighter larger chunk of the interest. I would probably vote for a 50% return of interest. How about 77.5% to settle? New proposal to vote on for those still interested i hit "A" faster than you could draw your plastic replica gun Butch Cassidy :-)!

Sat with bated breath, low and behold it appeared, like a thnig of beauty. Dived in feet first and purchased.
Had a quick office meeting and turned around and poof, gone!
Quicker than a ferret up a drain pipe!

btc i ithought we voted on the offer not the 10% not whether we should accept any offer. My opinion is that they will come back witha higher offer which, if rejected we should expect either another loan or full repayment via sale of the asset.

Happens at the weekend, you can tell there is a problem when the interest fails to be added for the day.
I have had an amount to invest (only £100) since Friday night without it working.
Give it until Monday and the jobs will run and everything will be rosy again.

Hi charles, I take it the bond pays monthly? I have flicked through the docs and cannot see the details on payments? Regards, Mike
