pretty minimal on transferwise or equivalents Yes fair point, saying that I already have a chunk of EUR loans that in a sane world I would have cashed back to GBP a while ago as I brought them when the EUR was around 1.4 but will hold onto. I just can't face converting GBP to EUR at the current rate as I hope by the time I need the money it will be higher than it is currently.

I am going to dip my toe in with the GBP loans, my only reservation is will there be sufficient loan volumes going forward to re-invest in but I guess unlike EUR loans I can withdraw my money without converting which is a big bonus. Lets hope a few more of the providers follow suit.

Are the Mods and Admins obliged to tell you - or just generally disclose it - if they were? (I'm presuming you also asked admins? If not ... ) ....... In light of the new found need for transparency I hereby declare that 1. I am a moderator of a motorcycle forum. 2. I partake in discussion groups concerning recovery and processing of nucl**r waste (redacted due to internet spiders and the OSA) Phew I feel better for that ...... Also in light of the new found need for transparency I hereby declare that: "I'm Spartacus "

Yes, disappointed but not surprised that there is no updated valuation or even comments around how FS believe the change would impact the LTV. I try not to bash platforms as I would like to believe that they are trying to improve but sloppiness like this just doesn't seem to be going away at FS.

With the SM open again, can anyone provide some tips on how best to sell from my normal account and buy into my ISA account in a way that limits the risk of me buying other peoples parts by mistake or people beating me to the purchase?
On FS this is fairly straight forward as you can list your loans at a unique mark-up or down and then select that one to buy. With ABL it looks like you can only buy the best rate, so my guess is you enter an Offer at a better rate and then purchase the same amount from the ISA account, would that work ?
Edit: now I have typed this I am questioning if this is a stupid question to ask so apologies if it is.

I am not sure I understand what the Security is on this one is it the rental income for the leases or the end of lease expected profit?

What on earth do SS think they are doing? A good quality large loan (£4M?) to be 12%, while a clearly risky small loan (£250K?) is to be 9% (or less?).... purely because they can get away with it? News for you, Liam and Tim!! Price to risk please, not liquidity, or lose a lot of well-heeled investors who know better. Pricing to liquidity just because you can get away with it casts strong doubts on your own integrity and that of the platform as a whole. I totally support that. I have mentioned this before. savingstream , I hope you are listening. Nope they are listening to the users who either think 9% is ok for the risk or who haven't changed their prefunding. Unfortunately there seems to be too many lenders who will lend to anything regardless of risk and therefore SS can price the loans accordingly. If / when one of these loans goes south then maybe that will change but until then my money at least will most likely slowly move away.

I understand your smile Liz. Perhaps SS are not doing 100% bottom up then, at least not consistantly. Is this possibly a ploy to get people to inflate pre funding bids in the light of lower % return loans? So anyone know what the top allocation was? Bit confused, I pre-funded £1000 and only got £725 ? Not too fussed but its a bit bizarre ??

I assume the lack of Mod comments on this stream means they are discussing this situation internally before responding which makes a lot of sense. I fully appreciate the effort the Mods put into managing this forum and understand they have to enforce the fine line between useful discussion and too much information opening the forum up to legal issues.
Saying that CD's DD is invaluable and the loss of it would greatly reduce the benefits we all gain from the forum. Fingers crossed a sensible solution can be arrived at and hopefully in time for the next SS loan go-live .
If not many thanks to CD for all his efforts to date, it has been truly appreciated.
