Surprised another option was not included which is leave as is (which is what I chose) but change time of day from always at 4pm i.e. rotate new loans between an 8am, midday, 4pm, and 8pm launch.... I thought we had a poll before on the best time, turns out it was for Collateral I like 4pm, 10am is taken by Collateral, 11am is taken by FS, not sure about other sites. I'd say the main release time still needs to be in work hours so there are Things to manage deposits etc. Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting a fixed time in replacement for 4pm (4pm actually works really well for me personally, I work in an office so usually very close to a laptop, even during many "meetings" ). However, some in the past had complained about the time so was suggesting: Loan 1 | 4pm | Loan 2 | 8pm | Loan 3 | 8am | Loan 4 | Midday | Loan 5 | 4pm | Etc | Etc |

But those lenders don't seem to think that the same algorithms are being used when the rates go up, like today back to 6% AER..... Or did we turn them off? I do not think anyone is saying that the algorithms are used prevent rates from rising but help to keep them lower than they would be if it was a market in the true sense of the word however as I said before without the RS features that keep pressure on the rates who knows where the rates would be given the increased demand for loans. Also as I said before it would be good to have an explanation of why these many features that help to reduce rates are there otherwise we can only assume that is the purpose, a good start would be to explain why RS keeps placing borrowers orders just below the lowest lender rate especially when the rate is very low. But they have explained in the past their motivation, it is just that many don't seem to like the reason stated, my understanding was that many features are there to make the process appear very simple and easy to Lenders (e.g. invest and go). It is a separate debate whether RS (or any other P2P for that matter) is really as simple as they appear or should appear simple. Put another way, there is no such thing as a free lunch...

Is anyone else having trouble logging in? I have asked for a password reset a number of times now, the reset email comes through to me. I set the password, which the site accepts. However when I go to log in it still says invalid log in details.
I have emailed a few times but no response so far (need to remember to try and call during business hours).

In light of these changes, it would be good if previous lenders in the 3 year market were also offered the chance to retire their loans early without the significant early withdrawal fee's. I might be missing something but confused why they should. Those people are still in the same position? They don't have to sell but can do in the secondary market?

As already mentioned above please bring back as soon as possible the column "OutstandingPrincipal" in the investment list. File useless without it.

BOJO - or BBB as I prefer to think of him - appointed as Foreign Secretary: Is it just me that gets the feeling that May is playing out some form of cruel joke, at the expense of one or other or both of BOJO himself and our European neighbours ? For what it's worth, I had him down to be pulled in to playing a major or indeed the lead role in a 'Brexit Unit', which this kind of is but with more bells and whistles. EDIT: ooh, David Davies appointed as the aforementioned head of 'Brexit Unit': and only we could create a role of Secretry of State for Brexit. So May is serious when she says 'out is out'. Either that, or she's lining up the chief Leave protoganists to be seen to have responsibility to go and get the deal they were promising (each promising a different one of course), and if they come back with a totally unpalatable dog's breakfast no one can say it was because she didn't have 'true believers' fighting the cause. Has any position for Gove been announced yet ? And if so is it above ground or 6 feet under ? Would be a touch ironic if the pieces land with BOJO as FS and Gove on the back benches. Given Fox's new post as International Trade and a head of Brexit, not sure how much there is left for BoJo to do?! Potentially a shrewd move, the appearance of a leading role while keep actual influence away from him...

Your comment was below the belt Kev and I thought you knew better. I wouldn't have blamed AH if his reply was more forthright. A golden rule in business is do not talk down the opposition but rather talk you self up. Don't think I read that as Kev talking down AH, the implication was that the kicking was directed at the Journalist...

Have to say, I agree with the thread being locked. The last few weeks have been unpleasant and I personally would like to pretend it all didn't happen if it means everyone being nicer to each other. Would welcome a thread that focused more on how we make this work, given the decision already made. The nation has made its decisions whether or not we personally voted for it.
As an example... A friend was encouraging others to attend a session this week in London to help make Europeans feel welcome in the city, a charm offensive if you will (they had personal experience of their European friends feeling hurt by the vote). Personal view, think it would also be a good idea to do something similar that is UK specific? With Londoners going outside the M25 to meet people and build bridges. Without cynicism trying to understand the other person etc.

I get that you don't like him nor his wife's politics and given the area you definitely know him better than I do. But given he lost his wife very recently I do think you could do with being nicer. But hell what do I know. Not even 40 yet. And clearly wet behind the ears.

Voted no. I suspect he wouldn't win a general election. Do we assume you are a Tory supporter? Actually no, just more a realist! While I do now work in the city, I did grow up on a council estate...

Voted no. I suspect he wouldn't win a general election but I do think he has earned the right to fight one... When he loses then get rid. If they successfully get rid of him before the next election and lose anyway, the debate in the Labour party will continue indefinitely. The country deserves an effective opposition.

As a way of an update, chased again on day 13. Received an apology day 14 (technical issue their side), cash received day 15.

I didn't chase until day 10, which is also my bad. I think it is good manners to at least go directly to a firm that you are unhappy about to give them the chance to put something right before going public?
