Yikes, that's enough to put me off signing up. Is provision of bank statement/details needed for all Unbolted account openings now or just cases where they can't do electronic verification via other means. I never came across this when signing up on other platforms...

I just got an email about an offer where you could invest another £5k of your own money for a year to collect a £100 bonus. Offer runs during December and you have to use their special link. Not for me, but it might interest someone... Got my monthly statement, but no email on this offer. Clearly they wish to bring down the 1 year rate as it is substantially higher now than in the summer. It appeared in my monthly statement email immediately beneath the statement figures and above links to their blog stories. Maybe it was only targeted at some subset of customers? It didn't mandate investment specifically into the 1 year market, but that does match the term of the offer.

Hopefully we'd get time to do DD for loans to an existing borrower where the security is different, but I don't follow the logic regarding no bid limits. A limit would help more people get a slice and BH can still scoop up the remainder 24h later if they so desire. I think abl have seen the take up of these loans previously and are comfortable about the time for 0.5M. If it were the loans mentioned above we should have days rather than seconds . I suspect you're quite right, but I still don't see the reason for no bid limit. Even on slow-to-fill loans the only inconvenience to BH is that they have to wait 24h longer and a limit protects against loans filling quicker than envisaged.

Is the SM always like this? Like what? Very often there's nothing available on the SM. Other times there's a lot for sale. Right now we're somewhere in between. There is no real "normal"...

I am sure that there is no need to resurrect the recent angst/paranoia/whatever. Absolutely. I wasn't asking out of fear, just genuinely curious. It seems like a reasonable way to address any rough edges on loan proposals before they go public. The use of bid limits and a review period would seem to offset whatever advantage ProClub members might be perceived to have. Anyone else think that "ProClub members" sounds like a golf tournament?

For example, during ISA season it is reasonable to expect that lender rates may fall slightly as incoming lending capital exceeds the demand for new loans, and this would be irrespective, to a large extent, of external bank rates. Does abundance/scarcity of lender funds affect the rates presented to borrowers or does it just mean that more/fewer loans can be satisfied?

Thanks Matthew. There was no pending withdrawal involved. After I performed a manual lend of £1.24 the wallet showed balance of zero again on my dashboard. I'm not sure it's worth troubling customer support, but thanks for the offer.

The only way I can see out of this is if I change my autolend instruction to divert to the wallet until there is more than 48p there, then make a 'New offer'. Nothing in life is easy is it? Temporarily turning off autolend to bump up my wallet to >£1 was exactly what I did! It feels like I'm playing shove a ha'penny, but at least things are back to a "tidy" state

At present, my dashboard says that my wallet contains £1.25. When I go to make a manual offer, that page tells me that I "currently have £1.24 in your Wallet." I guess it's just rounding but would be good if rounding was consistent across these pages. Sorry for nitpicking
