Should she have had her citizenship revoked?
Part of the reason I post these things is I find it interesting to see what others say about such matters. In this case I think it might split my forumites or perhaps the vast majority would answer "yes" to the above question. I'm usually wrong.
My view is first that citizenship shouldn't be used as a punishment. Jail time is the punishment for serious offences.
Second, I also think she was a child when she left. Certainly young enough for people to commit crimes by taking photos of her in the street and young enough to warrant any adult looking after her (aside from family etc) to have their police record checked (DBS). But we decide she's so delicate as a child that she needs all those protections but yet call her evil etc for being persuaded at that age to leave the country and join the ranks of our enemy. Maybe she became evil during adulthood I don't know but if that is the case, she should account for her crimes in her own country.

I had sympathy with her initially (young and stupid like many of us), but when she talked about the things she had done and witnessed since leaving the country and she didn't care, and by that time she was an adult she lost it for me. She chose her side as an adult, stay there.

I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. I reason that MI5 et al know a lot more about this woman than they are letting on, and if she was by any stretch "innocent" when she went, she sure as eggs ain't innocent now and has changed for the VERY much worse. Also possesses the shiftiest eyes when she's being interviewed that I have ever seen in my life. A hardcore terrorist and will never change IMHO.

Didn't we strip her of UK Citizenship because her father resides in Bangladesh and she has Citizenship there via him?
I do vaguely recall Bangladesh saying "Not so!" but if her father is a Citizen and living there I don't see how she can't claim/be Bangladesh Citizenship?
All a bit too complex for my tiny mind ...........

All a bit too complex for my tiny mind ........... That's an odd situation - aside from the rest of the story. Surely it's up to Bangladesh to decide if she's entitled to Bangladeshi citizenship? I don't see how the UK can decide that for them.

we certainly have. And while I'm prepared to have my mind changed, ATM my views also haven't changed much: since she left the country at the age of 15, and went with similar aged girls, the prime facia evidence is that she was groomed and is a as much a victim as anything else. We can say that she has expressed extremist views since that time, but we should acknowledge that from that point onwards for all practical purposes under the sway of an extremist outfit.

This has been discussed in the media over the last couple of days. It was said that she was 18 at the time of the Manchester Arena bombing, and she likened it to western attacks on ISIS targets.
For me she can rot where she is.

What if the subject is not Begum? Could a Boris or a Harry with high social status lose their citizenship if have done the same like her?

Doesn't she also have a Dutch husband living in the Netherlands? So she arguably has two options, Bangladeshi or Dutch Citizenship? Can't for the life of me figure out why the UK is so obsessively attractive ..............

Can't for the life of me figure out why the UK is so obsessively attractive .............. As I understand it she lived here for the first 15 years of her life until she left. Leaving her aside for a moment, what I don't like is the idea that someone can make me non-British. They can put me in prison for the rest of my life but IMO they should not be able to remove the fact that I am British. Does it mean that if I gain Australian citizenship then suddenly my British passport is at risk because I have another "option" ? And does it mean that my children are at more risk than other children because they have a Ukranian passport in addition to their UK one ?

However, if you have the right to reside in more than one country you can have your citizenship revoked in all but one.
