That all got a bit technical. Would I be right to sum it up as somebody has taken the caravan thingy from in front of Ms Sturgeon's mother in laws house? 'Caravan thingy'... now, now . This is a stonkingly top notch piece of kit, well beyond the means of almost everyone we see anywhere on UK campsites. But essentially yes, your summary sounds about right. Meanwhile, what I thought might be bronchitis has been diagnosed via a very good 111 and an excellent late night GP service as pneumonia this evening. Apparently it latched on to my lungs after covid had already tried destroying them last week... he called it a secondary infection and it's supposedly not that unusual. The only crumb of comfort is that Peter Murrell is probably in a worse place than the shipwreck that masquerades as my body right now. Only just noticed this. I thought you've been a bit out of sorts recently but you're quite right about putting things into perspective. I hope by the time you read this you are much better?

We are lucky to live in the magical age of antibiotics which currently work for us. After just one dose so far, I already feel much improved.

Turns out that caravan thingy was parked 5 miles from here. I could've got in with a cheeky offer before it became the focus of attention. Maybe make wee jimmy an offer for that black Peugeot on her drive.

So according to new information, as published by the Telegraph: "Campervan seized at Nicola Sturgeon's mother-in-law's house was 'bought as SNP battle bus'" but was never used for that purpose after Covid restrictions were lifted.
So now we find out that this vehicle identifying as campervan was actually dreaming of growing up to be a "battle bus". But never a Motorhome

But never a Motorhome Maybe the 500k balance went on "parking fees" for the "battle bus:. Does this mean my motorhome parked in my drive can be classed as my " downgraded" residence and therefore attract council tax at the much reduced "property " value?

Sorry to hear about your sister in law. However I don't believe that a doctor would falsify a member of staff's death certificate to save the government money. Putting covid costs the doctor nothing. Putting incorrect information on a death certificate might cause them bother. An honest mistake is possible. You could ask the team concerned about it.

It is correct. Covid death families have yet to claim millions in compensationI think it would be surprising (understament) if a doctor deliberately recorded a false 'cause fo death' on a death certificate for the purposes of massaging figures. They would have zero incentive to do so, and very significant incentive to not do so: being struck off come to mind. Of course a death certificate allows entry for primary and second cause. Pneumonia is an extremely frequent cause of death in those that have become seriously ill and weakened from an other disease. One of my closest ever friends died as a consequence of having lived with HIV for about 13 years. This was before the modern treatments as we are going back about 3 decades. He was at the time also one of the longest known survivors of HIV in the UK. His cause of death ? Pneumonia. 'Cos HIV is not a cause of death per se. My mother had lived with COPD for many years, like the example you give above she was a smoker. Cause of death ? Pneumonia. Secondary cause of death ? COPD. Pneumonia is what eventually gets many of us, and it is what happens when your body has become a bit ****** from other things. govt. numbers by the way worked off 'a +ve covid test in the last 28 days" (for the headline figure). Many - including people on this forum - argued that was significantly too 'loose' and was therefore massively over emphasising the number of deaths attributed to C19.

Thanks. I agree, i wasn't suggesting any falsification, i was more insinuating whether she died "from" or "with" Covid 19.

My mother was knocked over by the d doctor on a evening visit and broke her hip. She had had throat cancer some 17 years before and no sign of reaccurance after surgery since that time. In hospital post surgery for the hip she developed a lung infection , they were treating with anti biotics when she died. Cause of death throat cancer , never true but definitely in the NHS interest both d doctor and hospital .Never persued it my brother was to upset by our mothers death to cope with more stress.

More problems for NS. Apparently she was recorded in 2021 telling members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) that the party's finances "have never been stronger".
The SNP NEC meeting held on 20 March 2021 took place against a backdrop of growing internal dissent about transparency. According to the Sunday Mail, three senior officials - Edinburgh Lord Provost Frank Ross, Allison Graham and Cynthia Guthrie - had just revealed to the NEC their intention to resign from the party's finance and audit committee after being denied sight of the accounts.
It makes you wonder who was allowed to see the accounts.
