Avoid Booking.com if you can. They are not just thiefs, the dirty tactic they use is so bad it uses 2.2x credit on my credit card same day. Long story short. After "purchasing" the tickets, booking.com "refunded" the payment after entering the authenication code and choosing my seats. Then they raised the price by 5% and said my "chosen seats" on my previous reservation not available. Then creditcard company sent me notifcation I have almost no available credit left. Also, prices for hotels are 20% more expensive on booking.com compared to the "local" agents. I have used booking.com several hundred times for hotels and villas. I often check their price on comparison sites before confirming, and find it is very rare for them to be undercut by other reputable booking agents. I am now a "Level 3 Genius", which helps... For flying I use Google Flights and book direct with the airline unless there is a significant saving with a reputable online agency. For car hire I almost always use Carflexi.com

On an airline related note, former page 3 girl Sam Fox was arrested and spent the night in jail after 'drunken bust up' on flight from Heathrow to Munich.
Any excuse for the trolley dollies to wield their power. That's a very sexist and outdated term. Are you including male flight attendants in this description?

Google flights is good, but not as powerful as ITA Matrix

For car hire I almost always use Carflexi.com I must be the unlucky one using Booking.com the wrong time. Now their app shows listings not matching photos and reviews of the hotels. Like Photos and reviews from Hotel California for Easy paradise. 🙄 The places I stayed before now showing different names. Shocking.

I know a large guy who was forced to buy two tickets on his last flight. He wasn't that bothered till he discovered they were in different rows.
(Here all week, tip your waitress etc.)

My bad, I got confused with the air stewards / stewardess. Not sure why I was thinking air stewards working in those airlines refusing cash payment.

One guy sends his mates a private joke and gets 2 days in the cells followed by a possible 100,00K bill because some idiot in gchq or similar thought they were doing a great job intercepting his joke. For me what is critical is whether the message could be viewed by non-friends. Would three guys in a private house somewhere who made such a joke also be subject to enforcement like this? www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-68056421
