Used Revolut in the past but dont like them as they're not a bank and some places don't accept them (including many airlines onboard ?)
Had no problem with Starling and seems to provide similar functionality as revolut including very good exchange.

Visiting Belgium. I didn’t lnow Belgian ATM has terrible default GBP-EUR conversion rate. To only way to avoid poor rate conversion is withdrawing Euro directly from Euro account. HSBC Global money saves my day. It seems the virutal Revolut loading via Curve doesn’t work on some debit card machines, but it works fine on “credit card” mode.
