I guess given that its worth a shade over 12p just to opt in, there is no real downside. I was out yesterday but got the WhatsApp alert about six so opted in. Two days running feels a bit odd. Todays WhatsApp has literally just arrived as I was typing this and wondering post or delete....... I got the WhatsApp notification today, but the date in it is for yesterday! It's now been edited to say today's date.

badersleg , spiral , michaelc , archie , Ace , Badly Drawn Stickman , bracknellboy session today 18:00-18:30 yes it's a weekend one wonder what the rules are I know then for weekdays, don't expect a huge payout. ( sign up available and it's £1.75 ) Just looked I should earn £90 overall, given my average bill since 1/11 is just over £1 151 days £151 ( 1/11 - 31/3 inclusive ) leaves me with a bill of £60 or around 40p a day.

Octopus' billing department could not organise a Downing Street meeting in a brewery.
We have a rental flat. It was empty between June and earlier this month, apart from various bits of work going on. I transferred the bill to my name in June and gave a start reading.
The electricity meters are in a locked cupboard, and the building managers are useless. I could not get a meter reading, and Octopus just estimated based on the tenant's usage. It got to the stage in February that, despite me repeatedly telling them the flat was empty, they sent the account to debt collectors. The estimated bill reached £1,200...
We got a closing reading, fortuitously, on the day the tenant moved in - and I transferred the account to his name. The website told me the correct bill was £95, and I paid it immediately.
Since then, we've had an updated estimate of £2,000 owing. Then one of £450 owing. Now one of £190 owing. Apparently, their systems rejected the March reading because it was so far from their estimate.
On the number of days and kWh used, I estimate the correct bill for the seven months at about £170, so about another £80 owed, but I'm happy if they show their working and it comes to a comprehensible figure.
I wonder how long it'll take for us to come to an agreement... Place bets!

Am I allowed insider trading, ie place a bet then give you the email of someone at OE that could sort it.
I always get my late October early November gas readings queried for being a long way out because the heating kicks in and instead of 30 or 40kWh in a month I'm suddenly use 500kWh

looks like we may have a session this afternoon/evening
what I'm seeing suggest 17:30 - 18:00 then 18:30-19:00
octopus not playing this time, some bids getting silly low ie 40p or so per kWh
at £2-3 kWh I can justify eating earlier / later for 40p nope I can't be bothered

and hit 19p on 24/25th
NGESO who are responsible for the Demand Flexibility Service ( DFS) which is what they use to ask suppliers to run saver sessions has deleted it's data sets today. I guess that means no more sessions until the Autumn.
Hope it comes back as the £93.50 was welcome.
I have tracked my points through the winter and it appears that Octopus have given double points on the last session ( despite it showing as single points on screen )
ie previous total 10000, new points 1000 new total 12000, not sure if that's an end of season bonus from Octopus or a glitch

Mse suggests fixing. I'm with octopus on standard tariff using about 2000kw a year. May go up as I might drop use of log burner. Is it really worth fixing?
