Coming up soon, the Olympic Breakdancing. Whaaa? Exactly, at least Pool, Snooker, Bowls, and Darts are in my mind sports and they aren't inccluded, if we are having breakdancing then we need the various disciplines of ballroom dancing.

But wasn't it nice to see him take it like a man and not kick up a fuss and have a hissy fit at the ref and judges. Just calmly accepted the decision regardless of what he may have thought inside.

I haven't really engaged with the Olympics this time, normally I can whip up enough patriotism to watch daft sports and get involved. Must be a sign of ageing.
However I am intrigued by the pole vault, how to you even practice to do that in the first place?
Nice to see the French handing out wooden baguette holders along with the medals.

A fellow out for a walk sees another guy carrying a long pole. He asks, "Are you a pole vaulter"? And the other says "No, I am a German, but how did you know my name was Walter"? Hmm, vas Valter. Is that an old one? Sorry! The higher the PV works record gets, the longer the pole they must need. And if you run up with it, you'd better be confident you can get it up to vertical!

TBH, it’s a bit strange there are not many GB fans waving their Union Jack flags in Paris.
It seems those waving the England flags have taken some news headlines. Let’s hope when the football season starts, things go back to normal.
Those minority of England football fans have made headlines for decades, I wonder why.

TBH, it’s a bit strange there are not many GB fans waving their Union Jack flags in Paris. It seems those waving the England flags have taken some news headlines. Let’s hope when the football season starts, things go back to normal. Those minority of England football fans have made headlines for decades, I wonder why. The bits I have watched there have been loads of Union Jacks, may depend on whether we have anyone in the particular event, and how well they are doing.
