Break Dancing out for 2028 Baseball, softball, Cricket, flag football ( Thats US football not Soccer ), squash and lacrosse 6s in It's possible boxing will be droppedI've started thinking that it should be. A sport who's very raison d'etre is to do significant harm to you opponent doesn't fit well with the Olympics, IMHO. Its different to the martial arts based sports that are in. still not a fan of having tennis, golf, football in there. These are sports which have huge presence on the world wide stage already. They don't need the Olympics, and the Olympics is bigger and doesn't need them.

I have a feeling the world champion wants to be world champion again in 2028.
It’s quite embarrassing the Team USA didn’t get the most models in shooting despite high number of gun ownerships and shooting incidents.
Even Lyles at one point said the World Champion of What before the Paris Olympics started.

But they're not used to requiring accuracy from a small number of shots. They're more used to emptying huge numbers of rounds from multiple semi-automatic weapons and hoping a primary school or two gets in the way.

It’s quite embarrassing the Team USA didn’t get the most models in shooting despite high number of gun ownerships and shooting incidents. Possessing a lot of equipment (be it golf clubs, tennis racquets, hockey sticks, firearms...) isn't what makes a star. Over the years I've shot on the clay target circuit all over the country, I've had the pleasure of meeting, and competing against, a few Olympic and Commonwealth medallists, both from the UK and elsewhere. They've all been normal, very pleasant, down-to-earth people, but fiercely dedicated sportsmen/women who've honed their natural talent by continually practising, day after day, until breaking that clay becomes second nature. Some hit the gym, some even undergo psychological training to control their temperament, but practice, practice, practice by far counts for the most. To practise needs access to an Olympic standard shooting facility and that, rather than the level of gun ownership, is the limiting factor, followed by the funding/sponsorship to afford the level of practice required. One of the lads, Ed Ling, was fortunate enough that his father even built a full Olympic Trap layout on his Somerset farm for him to practise on privately - a six figure undertaking! We mere mortals cannot compete against that. Ed went on brilliantly to win a Bronze for GB at Rio, amongst many other world ranking achievements. These sportsmen are a world away from the US redneck imbeciles who run amok with their terrifying arsenals.

"President Thomas Bach said last week that the IOC "does not like the uncertainty" but suggested there is no "scientifically solid system" to "identify men and women"."
What a load of political BS from a male dominated corrupt to the bone organisation. If it was men who were somehow being disadvantaged by women there would be uproar and task forces. He obviously doesn't have any balls so that should make him eligible for women's tournaments. We'll use scientists as cover as they can't tell the difference between a man and woman but they are quite good at saving 100's of millions of lives or telling us what was happening 400M years after the big bang.

So let's have equality
all events open to anyone
oh and equal pay for all sporting events etc, when particularly in the case of tennis ladies start to play best of 5 sets

The best thing about women's tennis is that the match duration is usually no more than that of a football match (my maximum attention span).

Or is the intention to ban women from competing at a high level in all physical sports? But there will be no women in tennis where there is prize money??? But I'm sure they practise enough hours at a time to do five sets. Like women were not allowed to do the longer distance running events for a long time because apparently they wouldn't be able to run that far.

Men always have things easy. There’s no periods for men, unless they were born “differently”

So by that argument ( and I agree with it ) anyone who goes through puberty as a male should compete in male events. Example I can think of a Rugby player wins the hardest tackler award for a mens team the next year he transitions and promptly puts 3 opposition players in hospital. And the US swimmer who was ranked nearly 300 in mens college teams 2 years later number one woman
