The loan number has just re-appeared on the pipeline - perhaps launch really is imminent this time? Targets all correct and present everyone? . In Edit: having mentioned targets, they seem to have added £500 increments between £1,000 and £10,000, if memory serves I think someone suggested this on the pre-fund thread?

YES SIR! (£500 steps was the grumpsters suggestion... SIR! ) To be precise, as I find this game titillating; Hull - £100 (I expect to get £100), Pig farm £50k (expecting £500 - £5k), 2x 'ackney £60k each (expecting £200 - £2k each). I'll let you know later if I need to re-mortgage.

I do understand why you've done it, and I'll enjoy my £2.89 slice of the pig farm, but hopefully we'll have illustrated to SS why they need to think again about the chosen PF model.

They need to do something about this, capping your targets to the greatest of £1000; your account credit; or the total value of your loan book is the best I can think of ATM although a bit nannyish. Mind you I suspect your targets might still stand under such a regime .

I'm obviously missing something with Hackney... I didn't see the exit plan for it?
in terms of pig farms, I'm assuming 10% currently, I.e. A scaling factor of ten. Now there are more gradual steps I may tweak that a little.

Reasons? I think most people will have been disappointed with 38.8% last time so there will be a general doubling of targets. Which gives in the region of £3m pf level - for the £300k loans my guess is at best we'll get 10%. With the addition of up to £250k targets now (£100k max last time) that could quite easily be halved and knowing all this a few will like me well over egg it, reducing it further.

And further encouragements for the over-egging model are the 48hr repayment window and the fact that SM sales (of the target loan or others) would go almost faster than you can put them up! I hope something's gonna give, there needs to be a tweak in my view.

Mind you I suspect your targets might still stand under such a regime . I like the 'loan book total limit' or it may be more KISS to make each individual PF to be set to the current highest single loan value held by that investor. If you want to scale up, buy a bit more of one of the larger loans to increase your overall PF lending limit. This will stop some of the guess work and ensure that the BH can get the value they are looking for and both the smaller investors and BH will get an amount proportionate to their current investment

When the Post Office had an IPO, anyone wanting more than £10,000 got nothing. Is it possible that SS might just implement the same here? Set your pre-fund limit too high and get nothing.

Investor, The £1000 was for newcomers who may not have much of holding to start with. But max personal PF limit available as "total held in any one loan" or set your own if a newcomer, is a good idea. But if you do tweak SS don't forget to tell us before it goes into action!

I doubt they would do that as they seem to want the BH's to be able to get a reasonable slice of the small loans too, or they may as well just give everyone with a target set c. £70.
