Spoke too soon - it won't go down to 1, because Challock is also struggling after 16 hours uncapped. 1% cashback was a bit optimistic, when there are mountains of Phase 1 on the SM at 0.9% discount (having been sold at 2% cashback). Challock's at 95% - doesn't seem to be struggling now. Everything else held back at 99%, so presumably Autobodge had more to throw at Challock (rather than spend it on the SM!!). It's not clear whether Phases 1 and 2 are treated separately for Autobid limits or not, so whether Challock will flip remains to be seen.

Challock's increase is almost all down to overnight Autobid. Not many will buy parts to flip 1% when the first project/phase from the same borrower gave 2%. Autobid can take 100% of any loan/tranche now, but Autobidders who have the first phase will not take it.
They seem to be doing too well with the 1%, but perhaps Hendon 8 will still require a boost (Godalming 2 should be listed this am at 2%). Otherwise, no thanks.

There seems to be a pattern for Monday morning. Over and above the daily repayments, there is an injection of about £300k (?) of new money. If Febrile Calculators know this is coming it really means they should be in control of the new loans issued on the preceding Thursday and Friday.

Yes, they seem to be using Autobodge to manage the loans through the 90's over the weekend to be at 99% early Monday morning. Presumably they don't want to leave the platform completely devoid of loans at any time. Unless Autobodge money is spot on (which would be very difficult to manage week in, week out) one might expect this to leave some cash for the SM over the weekend, but that does not seem to be happening (weekend sales for me tend to be rather worse than weekday sales). I'd like to know if Autobodge is actually keeping investors fully funded or whether it's actually leaving them with a balance that can then be mopped up when the new loans come on during Monday. Unfortunately I don't know any Autobodgers whom I can ask (and probably wouldn't admit to it if I did - I have my pride!).

I suppose, if your auto-bid is £200, you've already got a piece of everything and there's nothing Autobid can do for you except wait for new loans. But if it starts putting £20 bids into new loans, you have to wonder why those £20s weren't already spent.

AIUI (which is less than totally, given the opacity of the black box that is autobodge) it will buy parts (just one per loan, historically) UP TO your 0.5%/1%/whatever cap. So if you have a £100k pot and a 1% autobodge (I doubt any such idiot actually exists mind) it won't sit there looking for a £1k part on the SM, it'll buy smaller parts (but only one per loan?).

17594 now has a 1% CB upgrade applied. Asset backed, but I'd prefer it to be 9.5+1.

Newbie question: if I invest before or at lower cashback and then it is added or raised will I get the old or current-higher cashback?
