I do agree, I was just pointing out that you were lucky to get what you wanted first time. If that is what you were saying. I managed to get £75 in the red by not paying attention, which I don't intend to send money for. Sold another little bit of £83 to cover it. Not done that before and wondering how it will be handled? That should be OK. You can fund the negative balance by bank transfer or by selling some of your loan parts (as you did in this case).

registermeThank you! That'll be why I received no SMS text about yesterday's loan launch! I'm still not sure any SMS texts went out yesterday. I'd already added my mobile phone number again before PBL065 went live and didn't get one. Didn't they stop sending the sms out on fully pre-funded loans a while ago? Not much point really.

There is very much a point to this as new loans posted on the platform invariably trigger an increase in investment opportunities on the SM.

Only just joined SS, never used the old site so 065 going live was my first chance to see some action with the new site. I have to say that it was very confusing. I kept hitting that green "invest" button and nothing was happening, I had no idea if I was buying stuff or not, no message, nothing, zippo! Then I did get a message that looked positive then an e-mail saying that I had managed to invest £0.00! I can understand that if there was a lot of demand then I was just being unlucky/slow, but could we have a message to that effect PLEASE.
Then there were several chunks of £1000 coming up, I was entering £200 and the same happened, then the amount for sale increased and still I had nothing! Then there was £800, then £300 then £0. I was entering my £200 request time after time - nothing ! Er - what was going on?
Then I did manage to pick up a few bits and bobs, but it was far too much of a jamboree, or arcade game for me. I was trying to invest money, not test my luck or speed. All in all very unimpressed.

Yes - to 2 buyers. I think it was stardust who earlier reported a slightly different messed up sale scenario to 2 buyers. So the conclusion is there is a significant bug lurking here. Mine was to 2 buyers as well savingstream are you aware of this potential issue? My guess it is not a live transaction but there is a batch process somewhere that reconciles those numbers. It was broken still this morning but I've just looked again now and it "fixed itself". So either this process ran or savingstream manually reconciled those transactions. Whatever the reason is of the problem (same reported by many before) once the loan part is sold, it should be visible in sold transactions and the balance should be updated.

Check under My Account / Personal Details that your mobile number is correct. My mobile number had moved to my phone number box. This might explain why we didn't get an SMS. Yep, that was it. The migration transposed my mobile number over my landline number and blanked the mobile number field. I suggest everybody check this.... (cross-posted from the PBL65 thread because more people are likely to see it here). The problem is that only a few people will read this and change their details so SS may swap them over in a batch run thus putting ours wrong again! SS if you read this and do a batch run to transpose the numbers please make it intelligent so that it distinguishes the two types of number.

Trying to buy on the SM can be very frustrating, but this is the price we pay for having a very liquid SM, which most/all agree is a major advantage of this platform.

Been here a while but very much into leaving it alone, first sale I ever made. Nice and simple, which is why I did not like working out my interest accrued. Please fix that bit, SS. :-)

I do not have a particularly fast internet connection (about 1.3k at peak). The new website is not slow. I can do without the emails re £0.00 buys.

Has anyone seen their bank transfers made yesterday to SS credited to their accounts today? Mine hasn't gone in yet but I guess it's linked to the new website processes.

Nope - my account is still showing -ve. I've checked and the money has left my bank account so it is somewhere in the ether, just hasn't landed yet. It may be that there were a lot of transfers for SS to process last night after a fairly hectic evening on the SM following the new loan launch.

Just noticed the affiliate section is gone from the new site. Hardly surprised given how much liquidity there is in this platform.
It's there after all, hidden under My Account -> Rewards.

Email reply from SS has reminded me that their cut-off time for daily deposits is 5pm. I guess mine must have gone a little later than that (my bank account doesn't show a time on the FP) so will likely be reconciled tomorrow morning instead.
