I think it is clear that if you get the pictures you are most likely to miss buying the loan parts. (At least this is my experience so far.) Is there still a point in making the selection or should we just give up and not select any pictures and wait for the next loan part?

All I know is I have had a couple of hundred quid doing nothing now for two weeks. For the sake of tidy, I would normally have got it invested without too much trouble but I have seen nothing, absolutely nothing at all this week. Also, my last prefund investment was next to useless. Still, it does seem to be all or nothing around here and I expect feast will replace the famine in due course. :-)

There is no way of encouraging anyone to sell (although recaptcha may have deterred some people from buying). A bit of bad news probably would produce some sales!

Ahhh, great. Just got my first pictures!! Now I know where the tick-box is, too. (Just off the bottom of the page which I was frantically scanning ....)
Got the boats right (first time) .. then only got ONE pie. Dear me. No cigar on either occasion .... Back to clicking n staring ....

More chance of getting the answer right the next time that one appears (I had the same 'spot the auditiorium' twice in 3 buying attempts when it first launched - it just moved the pictures around - I got it right at the second attempt  )

Managed to buy a few pence which I immediately sold. It turns out I cannot distinguish mountains and coffee. Me - not recognising coffee.
BTW did you get the one with patios - I just could not figure that out. Finally I gave up.

I know that some people are still able to buy on the SM but has anyone managed to do it using safari on an iPad or on chrome on an android phone? I ask because there's so much clicking and typing I've managed to get exactly nowhere. In particular, every time I select a picture, the keyboard reappears and I have to cancel it to proceed. Even when I can see that the part has already gone, I continue to select the images etc and the confirm dialogs etc in the hope that I might get less validation next time but I still always get all of it. Is a PC now the only way to have a chance to invest now? Following my earlier post. My luck ran out and I started getting pics, so I see what you mean by the keyboard, but it didn't obscure the pics or anything I needed to click and it disappeared of it's own accord. On IOS7 safari mini ipad. Didn't get zip though with or without pics and despite getting pics correct. My pics were trains and palm tree's! My PC is definitely faster, but I'm not likely to bother trying again until I'm back unless a large loan is released or it's the early hours. All a waste of time again it seems probably with or without a PC, as others are reporting.

Hi Guys It's hard to practice your technique to avoid pictures when SM loans only come around once in a blue moon. Below is a demo that works on the exact same code. It’s not just a demo showing you how the re-captcha works, it actually works in the exact same way as the one on the SS website; so it will show PICs when it thinks you are a BOT, and won’t when it thinks you are not. www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/demoBe sure to share your technique to avoid the pictures! |

Huh!!! Make sure you think American, dudes! It thinks a Sundae* is the same thing as a milk shake!! There's no way anyone will be able decipher some of the fuzzy pictures in time to beat anyone who is passed straight through. * or that's what it looks like (still haven't seen the bananas) edit: just seen a different milkshake set ... no Sundae this time  |
