"If you would like us to send you a copy of your contributions to the Zopa forum, please email us at contactus@zopa.com Giles" Needless to say that, when I did ask Zopa to send me a copy, I was told by the Chief Marketing Officer that I could take a copy; no indication that Zopa would send me a copy as Giles had offered. I wonder if the Executive Chairman knew that the message he signed was totally misleading and would not be complied with?  At the time of the original message, the read-only copy of the forum did not exist, nor were there any (publicly known) plans to make it available. I'd personally see the current solution as a better option - allowing anyone to search for and copy anything they found "useful" rather than merely copies of their own posts.

As a new P2Per it does seem like a surprising move. I thought P2P was all about being different and more open?

As a new P2Per it does seem like a surprising move. I thought P2P was all about being different and more open? I think you've arrived a bit late for that, unfortunately. The P2P industry is going all corporate on us, regulation (a good thing, but..), institutional lending, big companies moving in, taking stakes etc.

Famous indeed. Does make me wonder what he does that really needs him to be in an office four days a week, though. I seem to manage working with co-workers in places from Russia to New Zealand without sharing an office with them. But I'm from an older generation of former tech startup unicorns (well, barring the trade sale that happened instead) and part of the new tech work anywhere world so maybe there's that. Or maybe not - being a bit cheeky there.  |

Yove got to hand to Zopa's marketing people, they are great at getting fluff piece's advertising Zopa into the papers relating to P2P and now they sneaking mentions into articles on unrelated subjects. westonkevRS need to have word with your lot, Im sure your revolutionary principles offer an angle for a name drop in all the current coverage regarding Cuba  |
