Just logged in again and this time I get the appropriateness test, but unfortunately I will have to be restricted, whereas on all the other tests I have taken I qualify for "High Net Worth". The key word is AND, where every time I have been asked in the past it has been OR:
<quote>
High Net Worth I have an annual income (not including pension income) of £100,000 or more AND investable assets of £250,000 (not including primary residence or pension assets).
</quote>
Why on earth would I want to work hard enough to earn £100,000 when I already have £250,000 gambling money in hand? Not intending to convey that this Ablrate specific, as I know the criteria (bar apparently the use of ANDs vs ORs), but it strikes me as odd that they are making any distinction whatsoever between pension and non-pension income. What on earth is the rationale for making that distinction [the taxman makes no distinction....] ? And actually, when it comes to assets why make the distinction between pension and non-pension assets I suspect this has more to do with the FCA protecting themselves from headlines of "my pension assets when down the pan" as oppossed to "my non-pension assets when down the pan".

Logged in and passed the test on the "standard account", clicked the ISA tab and it wants me to take another test, ignored it for now. Do I also need to do the ISA test ? Thanks for the feedback - that should not happen - we are looking at it and will fix Please mark my ISA as passed also, since I passed on my regular account.

We just had a little downtime for maintenance. The payment system was being affected so we wanted to make sure it was done quickly. Sorry for any inconvenience
