This is now getting frustrating. I put something up for sale to purchase something better on the SM . I didn't get to buy but now cannot cancel the sale so I am selling a loan part against my judgement.
I would welcome comments.

but now cannot cancel the sale I presume because it's part-sold? Simply buy the outstanding amount.

No, unfortunately is the outstanding amount is not shown as being available so you can't buy the rest. You just have to wait until someone else sells the same loan which pushes your loans out of the black hole and into the balance shown as available to buy. All very tedious.........

It seems to me that some people on this forum cannot grasp what the problem actually is. I have bolded above in nick's post. Saving Stream over a period of months have shown themselves to be inept at dealing with it and have expressed annoyance that investors keep referring to it. ed. cross posted with adrianc

To confirm the problem is the is the outstanding amount is not shown as being available. so you cannot sell or cancel. I was trying to sell to buy. It did not show as available. The loan part I wanted to buy sold. I tried to cancel the sale but then got the error message : the loan does not have availability, it is shown to be in a loan q unable to cancel. Five hours latter the loan shows as sold. I was forced to sell.

There's also a small black hole on DFL003 This problem still exists. Queue says £24.69 ahead of a part I try to sell now, but nothing on the Available page. Paul64 , I've Just gone to sell some DFL003 and the £24.69 black hole is STILL there - this goes back to at least February ! I remember you saying that fixing this was a priority - what progress ?

I refer my learned friend to p2pindependentforum.com/post/210909That said, it's inexcusable that this bug is still there after so long. Every now and then, chinks of hints of ineptness appear in the dyke of Lendy's IT department/person, sorry to say. Not that they're alone in that.

However, it was Paul64 who said that this was one of their priorities, so I'll wait for his return and explanation

Well, some errors will always get through, even with rigorous design review and code review processes in place (which I suspect may from time to time be bypassed?). It's the response,, or lack thereof, to those errors that is telling.
