I've just moved one post (an update to here) and redacted the name of the TV show along with some "hints" as to the property's location. I know this is a really old one and may no longer be an FC loan - but please try to not post details that id the people or their "assets"

As the majority of you no doubt know, the forum was established and is maintained through very generous financial donations and the time and effort of volunteers. Unfortunately, after a seven year run we need further financial donations if we are to remain on Pro-Boards as “p2pindependentforum.com”. The amount we require is £25 per annum to be able to continue as we are currently established and set-up. If anyone feels that they can assist by making a donation or contributing can you please PM star dust who is dealing with this issue. In hope and with thanks, P2PIF Admin

Hi everyone! We've launched an alternative P2P platform and I would love to get your feedback on it: www.lendary.net. The difference compared to classical P2P products is that you solely finance traders whose capital is fully protected by an automated liquidation mechanism. This way you eliminate the usual credit default risks. Feel free to check it out and leave your comments! Happy to dive in deeper if anyone is interested. Thanks, Frank Well, I would say welcome to the forum, but it's odd that we do not seem to have heard from you, perhaps i can draw your attention to forum rules 5, 6 and 7 which you would have received a copy of when you joined, or here
to refresh your memory. We often spot the less transparent platform reps on their way in and flag them anyway, but having a gmail account yourself meant we didn't detect you.

We have received the following warning from Pro-Boards We are aware of this issue anyway; a few years ago we spent a considerable amount of our time dealing with this problem and at that time managed to reduce our use below 50%. We are a very small volunteer team and simply don’t have the resources to undertake this exercise again. If the storage continues to be used up, we will get to the point where it is simply impossible to post attachments. You can purchase extra storage from Pro-Boards at $3.00 per month in perpetuity (or as long as the forum lasts), but as I hope you are all aware, we are volunteers and the forum has no income, it’s establishment and on-going maintenance relies on generous donations from forum members. If you want to go on posting some (essential?) attachments in the future, then we need you to do your bit now. You can help by deleting your superfluous attachments or reposting them as images. There are some threads here providing some useful information which should assist with achieving this. p2pindependentforum.com/thread/4950/post-images-forump2pindependentforum.com/thread/9528/plan-delete-attachments-restrict-sizeThank you for your co-operation.

LAG has nothing to do with the proposed legal action against Model 1 loans. Totally different people/action group with totally different goals. The genesis of LAG was started by wuzimu here: p2pindependentforum.com/thread/13628/lendy-action-group-thoughtsThe role of the CLB (and indeed creditors committee) isn't to rubber stamp anything in regards to deductions from loans. These decisions are made by lawyers and rubber-stamped by judges in courts. The role of these committees are purely advisory and have very little sway - many people here seem to significantly over-estimate their level of influence. The majority of the CLB are all experienced, prominent and long-term posters from this forum who volunteered to put themselves forward. The others are people who can help in other ways such as political or legal support (which will be much-needed). Regardless, LAG has never been about individuals (as you will see shortly as big changes are afoot) and constantly engages with all types of Lendy investors from across the spectrum to get their views on various matters. Efforts have been made via PM to engage with an Administrator of this forum to get their point of view and discuss proposed ways forward for both Lendy and Collateral but so far no response has been received. These questions could have been asked directly - we don't bite! A PM actually devoid of any proposals concerning Lendy and Collateral. If these ideas or “proposals” relate to the operation of the P2PIF then I suggest you make them to the whole team - dan1 ; df ; GSV3MIaC ; mrclondon ; star dust and Ton ⓉⓞⓃ . We're happy to listen and await your PM with interest – we don’t bite either. 😊

Its perhaps worth posting (on the final page of this thread) a reminder that nominations have to be received by 5pm TOMORROW (Friday 15th Nov).
Something that all HNW lenders should consider doing ....

Coming soon Now Live ... a new forum section, possibly to be headed 'P2x Sites in Administration / Liquidation'
Nobody likes change just for the sake of change, but with three p2p platforms in administration or liquidation now seems an appropriate time to restructure the forum to make the distinction clearer between active and 'failed' platforms. This will in particular benefit casual readers of the forum, who may not yet be lenders on a p2p platform, in highlighting the risk of platform failure is not trivial.
Later this month (Nov) the forum usage statistics will be revised, and a re-appraisal of which (if any) platforms should be switched to / from the 'More p2x sites' sub-board will be undertaken.

Loanpad have further requested the removal of the thread in its entirity, but have declined to explain what is damaging about a pdf written by Loanpad and currently available to download from a 3rd party website via links on google and bing.
As far as can be seen from a quick scan through, the pdf does not identify any borrower or asset, so did not appear to contravene the forum rules.

For reasons that are as yet unclear Loanpad have insisted that the link to a pdf in the OP be removed asap, as the longer it remains visible the more damage is being done.
If more clarity on what is "damaging" about a pdf on 3rd party site to which we have no connection is forthcoming, I'll update this post.

Whilst the forum welcomes contributions from borrowers, it is important that if they wish to comment on their own loans, they disclose the connection either in the post, or preferably in the signature strip of their profile.
A post made yesterday, and the subsequent discussion thereof has been removed from this thread. The OP has been messaged.
For any borrowers reading this, please remember that p2p loans are a regulated financial service, and the regulator's financial promotions regulations apply to you, simply disclosing your connection to the loan is adequate mitigation.

ADMIN NOTE - PLEASE READSeveral posts have just been removed from this thread that quoted from a transcription of an earlier court hearing in this case. We have asked several times over the last few months that people refrain from doing so as it enables google to link this thread to the court case and the borrower. A reminder not to identify the borrower was posted only 24 hours ago. Our patience has now run out - anyone that quotes anything on this (public) forum that identifies this case will be permanently banned from the forum without further warning. Such posters do not have the interests of the majority of forum members in mind, and some may be shills on behalf of parties other than lenders. It has been said many times on this thread by a number of posters (not just forum staff) that it is really not sensible to be discussing any aspect of this case on a public forum, and if judgement eventually goes against us, quite a number of the posts on this thread will have assisted the borrower in achieving that. We would strongly encourage people to review what they have posted on this thread and to consider DELETING their posts (delete option is under the gear wheel icon). Please think before posting on this thread. Consider carefully what you are typing, and if in doubt don't post. There is unlikely to be any further developments until late March so there should be minimal need to post on this thread. Completely banning discussion of this loan on the forum is not ideal, but is becoming increasingly likely.

Just one final thought that I was going to ask by private message but seems to have been answered already. Can the forum staff confirm we are totally happy that the posts are genuinely from the stated source? Both the email address hcrlondon registered their forum account with, and the IP address(es) they are using to access the forum resolve to domains used by HCR. Hence the forum staff have no grounds to doubt the authenticity of the forum member hcrlondon as a representative of Harrison Clark Rickerbys
