interesting from Betfairs exchange odds to be next PM
3/1 John Bercow 4/1 Jo Swinson 100/1 Keir Starmer 50/1 Caroline Lucas 3/1 Ian Blackford
Honestly some of these people should not be allowed to place a bet
Anyone who thinks Greens More Likely than Labour is deluded and the same applies to the SNP

John Bercow at 3/1? How do I take the other side of that? Create a Betfair Exchange account, click on Lay against Bercow winning, choose your stake, and someone will usually take up your bet. I've had an account for ages and haven't used the rip-off high street bookies for donkey's years now.

You can back them all at 1000/1 on Betfair. There are no lay offers.

I can't believe there are websites like Ready 4 Rxxx! , PM4PM. Seriously? I know, it's astonishing that in 2022 the candidates would set up websites promoting themselves.

It's a very interesting field of candidates. Refreshing to see people from minority backgrounds right up there. I was musing as to why, while their politics do not suit me, I find their Labour opposites more irritating. I think it's because the Tories just get on with it, while the Labour equivalents tend to add identity politics.
While I do not like the political system that leaves the electorate with what can be percieved broadly as a choice between two candidates, the system that brought you Johnson or Corbyn, I recognise that fair votes and PR is a long way off, so the question for the Conservatives should be, who is Labour afraid of? Who does Labour want you to pick. I think Labour could be in trouble faced with Richi, the Saj, Tom Tug, and they would be D-e-e-e-lighted with Suella. But that's an unlikely choice.
I think Labour would choose to run against Liz Truss, who unless I'm mistaken is living dis-proof of The Peter Principle, the worlds most over-promoted politician.
