Did you all (RateSetter lenders anyway, including zopamatt if he wants to come) get the email invite to the lender drinks evening? My wife got hers, but I didn't! And I can't find it in my spam box. Let me know if you didn't and want to come, I'll get an invite resent. I don't think there was a problem, just with me. Marketing have probably had me banned.... westonkevRS westonkevRS

Nothing received here (not that I'd trek down to the big smoke anyway) so maybe marketing might want to check their email sending? Normal RS emails are whitelisted, but perhaps marketing has theirs sent from a differnet address like spammers@spamcentre.india.ru or something? 8>.

I think the invitation was cunningly hidden further down the email entitled "Your monthly lending summary", dated 1st April

I've received my ticket after responding to the invitation which, as others have pointed out, was cunningly concealed in RS's email headed "Your monthly lending summary"

I'd like very much to come, but don't get the monthly summary, and therefore not the invitation either

Any lenders that want to come but didn't get the invite, just call Customer Services and they'll sort a ticket. Just say WestonKev sent you.... At first I thought I didn't get the invite/monthly email because I'm a lender and borrower (don't ask, testing purposes!). But the email was sent by RateSetter, but didn't go in my inbox or spam filder. Our current thinking is that there is a higher level of spam filtering by some email domain providers (in my case hotmail) that blocks mass sent emails. @ westonkevRS.

Hotmail and Yahoo are _terrible_ for just dumping email seemingly randomly, without letting either sender or recipient know. It doesn't go into spam folders, it goes straight into a black hole somewhere.

That works on the stuff that makes it as far as your spam folder, but it doesn't work on the stuff that they dump at the boundary. I've had a LOT of problems with both whilst running mail servers and domains at various places.
I really wouldn't trust either with mail that you actually needed to receive, and I'd strongly advise anybody else similarly. Best of the free mail providers is undoubtedly Google, tinfoil helmets notwithstanding.

OK, the title is slightly wrong but the lender drinks evening is currently being organised for the Spring 2016, and will probably be in May 2016.
The recent change to the legal structure of the Provision Fund and how it is invested or can be used to provide short term liquidity will be discussed. Having me try to answer questions on an anonymous forum isn't ideal, so both Rhydian and Peter have promised to be there so you can ask questions directly.
If you can't be there, perhaps you can list some specific questions on this thread that haven't already been answered. Questions, not views please....
Kevin.
