If the web staff are available, I'd rather have a direct link (anywhere on the page!) from the loans shown on the 'my loans' back to the loan details .. right now you have to exit to 'live loans', or sometimes 'available loans', and look for the one you want... I second that. It really is a pain in the backside ! gets my vote as well

Ahh, well, got it paid for Jan 16. Was getting a touch edgy. Nobody else seemed concerned ;-) What with no weekly update (from Saving Stream) for a couple of weeks, no means of purchasing (on SM), non-moving pipeline & then a bit slow on interest payments ...... I am/was beginning to lose confidence ... were you really concerned, if so why not ask on here. everyone is very helpful and to be fair you may have asked that one all important question. i probably ask the most ridiculous question but if i dont know then i have to ask.

what are the true risks of losing invested cash via P2P, what happen if a platform goes bust, do all my investments go as well. have people lost out when previous platforms have folded or have they recovered some or all of their invested cash. i understand the risk of each individual loan but im not so sure that the platform risk is so great.

AC is good for fast investment and easy access but at only 3.75%, ive started putting some of my uninvested funds in to it. its fast to withdraw and move into other accounts when needed, it also offers a couple of managed funds at 7% as well as other loans that are similar to SS. i started with SS them added MF and then AC, ive checked some others out but not tried them as yet, soon maybe if things keep going as well as they have been. Do you realise that the AC QAA fund carries, in principle, the same risks of loan defaults as SS? AC don't publish any details of the loans supporting the QAA but I have no reason to believe that they are any more safe than SS. Both have a PF. You are paying a high price - 8.25% - for the advantage of having liquidity on about 30% of your loan (this is the proportion which is lent out, the rest you could have kept in cash yourself.). The other problem with the QAA is that it is capped and often full so your funds are earning nothing whilst they are waiting. Having said that, I do use the QAA myself, for funds waiting for the next SS or MT loan, simply because 3.75% is the highest rate I can get. Whether it is worth the extra risk versus a FSCS protected account paying say 2% is doubtful. maybe you should re read my post. especially this bit " ive started putting some of my uninvested funds in to it. its fast to withdraw and move into other accounts when needed". i could move it to SS and earn nothing at all but i prefer 3.75% to 0%. as for risk, if you cant cope with risk use a bank and watch them enjoy the fruits of your labour.

the new system makes over bidding a waste of time. you might as well ask for the amount you want and no more.

less of a risk than shares, very small amounts in several loans, so spreading my investments as much as i can in this area, I think you should be aware that p2p is very risky compared to buying and holding shares for the long term. The riskiest part isn't the loans, it's the possibility of the p2p platform going out of business. and part of the reason P2P is only about 5% of my invstment

im a newbie at this P2P thing so more funds to add and more diversification to do, but i thought i would add my ingredients to this mix. Interesting choice to start with the more high risk most people seem to have started with ratesetter/zopa and the like and then transfered to the higher risk ones less of a risk than shares, very small amounts in several loans, so spreading my investments as much as i can in this area,
